I bought this jug to mix photo chemicals. This jug is made of a very clear plastic which is great for seeing if all the powdered chemicals have dissolved. Much better than an older jug I had which was made of slightly milky plastic. The graduations are very easy to read. With the jug full, it is very heavy and I worry the handle may break or my wrist give out, so always support the jug by the base. The only negative I can find with this jug is that the plastic appears to be the type which is brittle so would crack if it fell onto the floor.
