Amazing stuff
Updated almost three years later....still as good as the day I put it on. And thats after a lot of Florida sun, rain, etc. See below for original reviews from initial application.Went on like a thick paint. Dried to the touch (and seemingly pretty much through and through) in about an hour at 70-80 degrees. Got 4 coats on in one day. 2 days later and it feels like a hard, hard rubber. Still has a few more days to what they consider a full cure. Brush cleaned up easily with soap and water to "like unused" condition. Masking tape didn't pull any of it up. Trying to pick at and lift corners leads me to believe it is very well adhered to underlying substrate, which was heavily weathered teak cleaned by pressure washing, leaving some of the old varnish behind. I can't really comment about how smooth the smooth dries because I put it over heavily textured older wood, but I have no reason to believe it would be anything other than smooth over smooth wood, at least if it was applied that way. It is thick and dries fast, so it can easily show brush strokes, especially if brushing into a "not so freshly wet" edge, but that is a matter of appication technique not material. In my application, it looks great. It looks like aging, weathered teak was replaced with brand-new, highly realistic vinyl teak. I'll take that. Time will tell how it lasts -- and that is one very, very real test.

I love this paint!
Our deck is only four years old. It's crap. The builder used substandard materials, and the expensive and time-consuming stain we put on it three years ago lasted less than a year. We have debated pulling off all the crappy-quality redwood and cedar and replacing it with composite materials. But we don't have the money for that this year, so I did some research to see if I could find paint that would turn it into something resembling a composite deck.Well, this paint did the trick! I can't speak to its durability because I'm still in the middle of my paint job. But I can talk about how easy it is to apply and what a great waterproof barrier it creates. This paint is thick. It's so thick that it doesn't drip off your brush or roller. And you would think that thick paint would be a PITA to apply. But it isn't. It goes on SO smoothly. I used a brush for most of the railings (I hate painting railings!!) and a brush for the primer coat on the deck, followed by a roller. I used a roller with a thicker nap, which gave the decking some texture. I really like the way it looks and feels. It isn't slippery in the least, and it doesn't burn my bare feet when I walk on the deck in full sun. I did three coats of Liquid Rubber on the rails themselves and six coats on the top of the railing, as well as six coats on the decking. I want to make sure this paint lasts as long as possible because I'm 65 with a bad back and bad hips, and I do NOT want to do this again!Another great thing about this paint is that it cleans up so easily. Given how thick it is, that really surprised me.When I first started looking at this product, the color I needed (which matches my siding perfectly) wasn't available in the five-gallon buckets. So I waited, and a few weeks later, it was and I snapped up two buckets. The color is perfect.I would be willing to bet that by the time I'm done, someone could look at this deck and never know that there's cheap, crappy wood under that beautiful paint. One last thing. I ordered two five-gallon buckets and only received one (the second one got damaged during shipping). I contacted Liquid Rubber, and they rush-shipped another bucket to me the same day. What a great company and great product.

Quality product
So far I have no complaints. While it's only been a few weeks and summer, I'll update after winter if I have/see any concerns. As of this moment, I'm anticipating no problems with this product. I can see ordering more in the future.

Professional Product - Works Well
Very happy with this product. It looks great and works as advertised. Comes in smooth and textured finishes. Polyelastomer coverage, waterproof. Rolls on, and cleans up with water until it dries. Make sure you shake it up or stir it well before use. It's extremely durable. It has a 3-year warranty, but if it lasts for a year or more I'll be happy. I'm going to buy a darker shade next time and see which one we like better. It's not inexpensive but like most things you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Do NOT buy -- does not adhere to primer
I spent many hundreds of dollars and weeks of effort to repair and resurface my deck. I followed the directions for this product carefully and put down 2 coats of Liquid Rubber primer. I laid down 3 coats of the Liquid Rubber Deck Coating on top, and it looked good for a couple of days. But, within 4 days it started bubbling in the sun and separating from the primed surface. I have no idea how much effort it will take to fix this. But, I'd like to save someone the rework effort I'm going to have to endure.

Better than expected
I had never used a product like this before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was very happy with the results! It was easy to use and it dried as fast or faster than the specifications suggest. The directions say to apply a heavy coat and I found that to be an understatement. Along the edges I used a brush and with the first coat, although I thought that I was putting on a thick coat, it had room for a much thicker one. With the second coat, I simply poured it directly out of the can to the area I was working on and spread it with either the brush, or the roller. Don't be afraid to put on a super thick coat! I would use this product again.

Minimal prep, maximum results
Post Hurricane Ian Glow Up - I did some spot bleach scrubbing and mild sanding on my weathered deck . Replaced a couple boards that needed it then applied this product and WOW. My deck looks and feels brand new , one coat is fantastic, I’ll probably do one more coat for longevity . Beautiful bright stony grey color and application was seamless. I bought 4 gallons and gave only used maybe 1.5 for entire deck plenty for steps , another coat and touch ups !

Tough Stuff
This was used to cover the floor of a new shed. Seven coats were applied to achieve a decent thickness. Each coat dried in 20-30 minutes. I am very happy with the results. The rubber floor has withstood lots of shed abuse, sharp garden tools dropped, misc liquids & chemicals split, stuff dragged across the floor and it has stood up very well, no marks or gouges to repair. I'll have a look next year to see if any additional coats may be required.

Textured liquid rubber. Complete waste of money & time!
I watched the instructions before purchased, seems simple enough just use paint roller.Open tub to find short measure, and no way a roller can be used far to thick! So I order another 3 tubs because of thickness and HAVING TO USE a paint brush. It leaves smears, streaked and doesn't cover the intended surface, nothing like the video.Only thing left...was a trip to Screwfix. Two tubs of 2.5. letres. No Nonsense decking paint, cost £20 and gives a far better finish than Liquid Rubber. Biggest .com on Amazon!
