Does anyone know if this product is real leather and if so from what animal or other is it from? It has such a strong smell that it physically made me feel sick and I'm currently trying to air it out but smell is so strong that it can't be left out.... however I like the product but hoping the seller or Amazon can tell me what kind of leather this is or if this is indeed fake?

These are washable which is perfect with children! They’re the exact colour I wanted, which was hard to find, also plain which I wanted , plenty big enough to catch any spills too, protecting my table nicely. Love them! Def recommend !

Chemical smell is very strong but does fade after a soapy wash

Got a message the placemats were delivered on the 5th August, but they didn't arrive till the 8th August, not as nice as the photo, but havnt got time to go out to replace them.

They are ok but not easy to clean with a wipe and they are flimsy so fold up easy when placed on the table

These are very nice, elegant looking placemats. They have a contemporary look to them that looks great on our table. We have a black glass dining table, so these placemats look fabulous. They truly set a very nice table.I love the look of these. The red is very vibrant, like a candy apple kind of red. They have a black flecked design in them that adds to the elegant look of them, and makes them look more expensive than they actually are.The first thing I noticed when I opened these is that they smell like a new car, so I did have to air them out and lay them flat with something heavy on top, because they were folded in half in the plastic they arrived in. Once they flattened though, they really are good quality. They protect the table perfectly, because they are water resistant, which means nothing is getting through these to the table underneath.The coasters are a perfect match for the placemats, and are nicely absorbent. They also stay put due to the rubbery base of them, so they don’t slip or slide on the table at all.I am happy with these placemats, they look elegant on the table. I actually think they would make a nice wedding or anniversary gift for a new couple.
