For the price it is a very solid, reliable, and solid compass
Bought this a gift for a dive buddy for her navigation class and had to chance to see it in action above and below the water. Everything works perfectly and you actually have a good amount of play without it locking the compass wheel (unlike my current analog backup compass) making it easier for beginners and seasoned divers. I am looking forward to purchasing one for myself and my other dive buddies.

useful and the right size
I bought it for diving and snorkeling… it works fine at 70 feet under and of course on top snorkeling. It is easily adjusted to follow an azimuth. the cutout on one side makes it easier yet to look at the numbers. The yellow on the dial helps to use it as a signal beacon as I wave my hand. Good visibility of the yellow color under the water and on clear days…

Good Hand bearing compass too
On the bulky side, but serves as a decent hand bearing compass in addition to a dive compass. Well designed and solid

Exactly what I needed!
I was headed to St Thomas to do my advanced open water cert dives and needed a compass. This got here quickly and worked great. It is a little big if your looking for a smaller one but it made it very easy to see in the deeper water.
