As far as tattoo machines go this one works pretty decent. The only downside that I can see, after using, is the fact that there is no RCA adapter available. Battery only machines are great under certain circumstances, however if you don't have plenty of proprietary batteries for a machine it's significantly limits the situations in which you can use that machine. Especially in the event that it breaks, or a battery goes down, Etc if you're needing to tattoo something where there's zero power sources, these are good options, but having an RCA adapter for machine in my opinion is an absolute must. None of the machines that I use on a regular basis, as a beginner mind you, do not have that option. It will allow you to keep going regardless of the mix of batteries that you might have, and the option to move to an electrical cord. However, overall the machine does seem to do well, it's girthy enough that it doesn't make your hand tired quickly. The vibration is a little on the strong side, but probably not enough to bother you for shorter tattoo sessions. If you're doing a session that might last more than an hour, this is probably not the machine you want to be using. Overall a solid pick for beginners, however there should be a RCA adapter available, and less proprietary batteries.

The Portex 2S has become my workhorse for any thing, the machine is pretty solid, the weight, size, and shape are on point and great, the settings and buttons are very reliable and responsive when needed, and the performance is pretty great overall, the machine feels great at the hand and it's not that tick so you have a great grip, I have medium size hands and works great for me, Battery wise might be the only downsize as it's not that great but it comes with 2 batteries so I'm good.

I had never heard of this brand but the machine feels and preforms like high quality ones. It did great lining, color packing, and shading. Like I said it feels expensive in your hands, it’s not like the machines you get in the $40 kits. It’s more similar to higher end brands cheaper options or middle of the lines more expensive machines. The gun metal red and black look nice as well. The machine has a sleek design. It’s pleasing to the eye. I worked on practice skin for over 3 hours and the battery I was using was still around 40% full. Very happy with this machine.

I really like this machine. The fact that it comes with two batteries makes it even better. It runs strong smooth and quiet. The only downside is that if both batteries should end up dying, there is no adapter to be able to connect it to a standard RCA jack. Besides that, its great.

Great quality machine, easy to use and adjustments are simple. It does come with an extra battery for those long sessions. It is a smooth running machine.
