Great addition to kitchen/dining room
Very easy to put together. Still takes a bit of time but it is worth it. The instructions were clear, we had no issues. I’m not really sure how easy it would be to lock the wheels. Ours are always unlocked. This adds quite a bit more storage to our kitchen. It’s made very well and I see it lasting a long time. This fits beautifully in our kitchen/dining room.

It looks nice, seems sturdy.
Looks nice. Will take you more than two hours to put together even if it goes well.I'm experienced with building things. I've built actual small buildings before, by hand, with my own plans. Still, opening this box and seeing the amount of hardware included gave me the willies 😂 so many pieces, some are unmarked or it's hard to find the sticker telling you what is what. You'll need a lot of space for this. And if you're doing it on a wood or cement floor, put a blanket down because this thing scratches easily. You really need a cordless drill. If you used a screwdriver for all this, it would take you 4 hours I bet. Anyway, I used my handy little drill with a Phillips bit and it went so much faster.Anywho, it went together fine. I didn't put the wheels on, don't want it to roll as I'm using it for a checkout at my store. It does have a wobble to it unfortunately so I'm going to have to put some padded adhesive pieces on the bottom to eliminate that, but otherwise the pieces lined up and fit together nicely. If you have help, you could speed this process up by having your help assemble the doors and hinges and the drawers with all the hardware. But I managed it myself, just took extra time. While I think this fits my needs well enough, I can't see this holding up over time in a highly used kitchen or with kids. The drawer bottoms are so thin and the finish doesn't seem like it will hold up for a very long time.Update:I didn't notice upon assembly, but the top has some weird defect that was covered up partially. I hope this doesn't start looking worse. It's like multiple filled in gouges in the wood.

Roomy and great quality!
I was skeptical but having had this for several months now I LOVE IT! The only reason I give it a four is that the wheels do not have a locking mechanism. Other than that it is a wonderful piece. Two people will take some time to assemble but it was very easy to follow the instructions.

Gorgeous & Functional
I never write reviews but this piece looks more expensive than it is.. has a lot of functional space for a kitchen island, the top is sturdy & sealed (some I looked at the top wood wasn’t sealed) & size fits easily in an open space. Our house isn’t huge so this is a great option for smaller kitchens with the room. It came in 2 boxes which was annoying as they showed up on different days. It took my husband 3 hrs to put together by himself so prepare for that. He’s great at putting things together so i’m sure if I was doing it alone it would have been 5 years 😂 So get help if furniture isn’t your strong suit!We didn’t use the wheels but the wheels are hidden and it moves around great but the locks on the wheels don’t do much. We removed them and it was a little wobbly but we just leveled it with a small piece of padding from the box! doesn’t move now!Overall, we are soooo thrilled! worth every penny we spent!!

Great for organization
I bought this considering my kitchen space in my apartment is rather close to none. While it is almost $300 (after tax/shipping) it was worth every penny considering it helps SO much with storage space and just space to cook/prep.We don’t have the wheels on it, however I think I like it better without them anyway. It’s pretty sturdy, helps with organization, and the color we chose matches well and it’s so nice!Easy to put together, took minimum time. If you need more space, I highly recommend this product! It has helped so much for storage and just looks wonderful also.

Storage and Looks
I'm a 66 y/o female, and although the manufacturer suggests this is a 2-person install, you can absolutely do it alone.Pros:SturdyPretty3 drawers (one is large)2-door cabinet is soft-closeOpen shelving on both sides.Large top (20" vs most of the others at 17")Even though it has wheels, it doesn't look like a rolling cart. Looks more like furniture.Lots of storageThe pieces were milled perfectly making assembly easy. There were no missing pieces or hardware. I counted everything before I started.Cons:Claims it takes an hour to put together hahahahahah! *laughs hystericallyThere were minor cosmetic defects. Easy fix with some bright white paint (which I have)Rolls with even a light touch (this could also be considered pro if you need it to move)Locking wheels are not accessible once assembledLocking wheels don't lock very wellCountertop is made with a groove around the perimeter. Seems like a crumb catcher to me. Time will tell. Some pieces were labeled, some were not. Some pieces required guessing which one it is.Minimal instructions (just illustrations) but video helped some.I won't use the drawers for utensils. The drawer bottoms would likely warp if exposed to moisture.Tips:* Look over the instructions and watch the short video before getting started.*Count everything. A little time consuming but better to find out if something is missing before you get started.*For any pieces missing a label, write it on the unfinished edge of the piece with a marker so you can find it easily later.*Separate all the pieces and set them in order by letter or number so you can quickly find it when the instructions call for it.*If you don't need it to roll, don't bother to install the wheels. The locks don't work well anyway. Just set up the island cart close to where you want it. It's easy enough to maneuver into place by lifting and sliding one side at a time so you don't scratch your floor.*If your kitchen floor is slick like mine, flatten out one of the cardboard boxes it was shipped in, and build your island on it. When it's time to turn the island over, it won't slide away from you as you're trying to upright it.Final Take: With the wheels off, the island looks like a permanent part of the kitchen. I absolutely recommend this cart. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Some day I'll get the courage to paint my cabinets white to match the beautiful island.Expect to receive two boxes, but don't worry if you only get one. You'll get the other, just not on the same day.
