If i recall, I believe this fan can be installed either way... as a pusher or a puller. I don't recall the way its set up at the factory but it works great on my truck. I had a couple of questions during install and I called flexalite. They were very helpful. Also, their are a number of youtube videos on flexalite fans.

Q: Does this fan unit come with temp probe sensor?

Yes it does. It uses the push in Temp sensor. I used the kit on my 2005 Xterra after the fan clutch gave out a second time. AC works far better now as a result of even cooling across the whole rad.

Q: Will this fit an astro van?

I don't know specifically if it will fit - you can call customer service at Flex-a-lite they are great and will help you get the right fan for your car
