Q: what kind of mild detergent can i use with this? just water doesn't seem to get the job done...

I used flash, and the head started to peel away and loose its colour after one use . I emailed customer services and advised that flash contains bleach and this is why this has happened. This surprised me- so I contacted flash directly, flash does NOT contain bleach.

Nothing wrong at all. It never supposed to lock. Cheap Chinese rubbish. I Binned mine after 5 uses. All parts came loose and it was unusable. Putty, I really liked the concept of the mop

Q: How do you remove the plastic from under the mop head when new? Instructions and diagrams are so small they are not helping.

It is very difficult and we ended up with the plastic breaking. We complained and were sent a new mop head but it is always difficult to remove the mop head after using. It is a design fault.

This mop is perfect for linoleum. It has great absorbency and does not leave the floor dripping wet.
