The product works well for repairing small antenna cables

These "screw on" coaxial cable connectors work exactly as advertised. I was able to replace a connector that fell off very quickly. Took virtually minutes to repair!

Easy to install

The attached antenna cable needed a new end. I reviewed some online videos to use this Twist On end. I had to try twice, as the cable was so small, even though it must have been an RG59. I had to use a couple windings of electrical tape around the black cord to get the fitting snug enough to twist. It works perfectly! My antenna is performing better than ever!

The minor diameter for these screw-on connectors is 0.2175 inches. The Nominal outside diameter for rg59 cable is 6.15mm, or 0.242 in. Mine is closer to 0.25 in.There's no lead in taper to capture something bigger. And if there is any wire that overhangs as the picture shows, it makes the cable even bigger.When I tried threading the connector onto my cable, the outside rubber sheath just rolls over.If your rg59 cable is less than 0.218 inches, you might be able to use this product. Otherwise, try a crimp on connector or anybody else's screw on connector. I'm going to try inducing a taper with a stone and see if I can get this to go on.Follow up note: product is too small to be used as a screw on connector for rg59. Even a lead in taper couldn't overcome the small thread of this connector. Cimply worthless.

Could not make it work as anticipated.Amazon needs to have explicit pictures and measurements of different kinds of co-ax, as well as better descriptions of the product. Probably my ignorance of specifics was contributory.
