Love the design!
It’s aesthetically pleasing and simple to build by myself. I love that there is plenty of shelf space to display all my books and photos. It’s very sturdy and anchors well into my walls

Nice shelf for a small space
The shelving unit is optimal for smaller spaces where a full-size bookshelf might not fit well. We ordered this unit to use in my daughter's room because it is a smaller room and the shape of the room is rather odd. We decided that the floating shelves would work well in the room to take full advantage of the limited space. Here is what we found out...When mounting the units to the wall you have to be sure that the place you choose is where you want to mount the shelves because they are not convenient to move from one location to another. The shelves were easy enough to assemble and mount although mounting the top was a little tricky. We used a drill to make the holes so that wasn't as difficult as it could have been.Looking at the pictures of the shelves they are a slightly different color in person. The middle pictures give the best example of the color. In the bottom cutout that darker shade is more true to the actual color of the shelves as opposed to the lighter color.The spacing between the shelves was nice as well. It is high enough for a variety of items to sit. We wanted to use the lower shelves for albums but they would not fit properly so we used them for books which I think helped to ground it and to keep it stable.Overall the shelves were nice but I do think that a freestanding shelving unit would have been better as it would allow for free movement about the space. I have contemplated moving the unit to the sun room and using it to hold potted plants. We are less likely to want to move things around in there.Overall I would give the unit a rating of 9 mostly because the coloring was off. Had we not planned to repaint the shelves it would have posed a problem to us.

I wish it was a bit more steady and that there were rails to keep the books from falling when the door is opened to fast.
