Dorland's Wax Medium 4 fl oz (113g) VDW0001 Blended Waxes and Resin

I use Dorlands wax to seal my watercolour paintings. It brings out the colour of the painting and leaves a lovely soft sheen. It's really easy to use and doesn't have an an offending smell. It's a great product although it's a bit pricey in the UK.

I use this on the pages of my mixed-media art journal. A little goes a long way (my first attempts were a little greasy) but a light touch and lots of buffing makes for a lovely smooth finish to a page, and the pages are no longer at risk of sticking together. Great product, and it smells of beeswax, which is lovely.

Easy to use and no odour, just what I wanted for preserving my watercolours. Arrived before I expected and, as I was on holiday, the package suffered the 'hurried driver' fate and was pitched over the gate into my back garden, where it lay for some time. Fortunately the packing survived typical Scottish weather and the contents were in perfect condition when I got home 😊.

I had seen this product used on u tube and had to give it a try. It was easy to apply and slightly improved the colours. I used it on two small watercolours and will probably use it on some larger ones. Only time will tell how well it protects the paintings.

Used this soon after delivery that was next day, work as it says on the jar excellent product used on hand made Christmas cards.Strange this item is clearly not a toy and should not be used by unsupervised children , why Amazon do you think this is a toy I can’t complete survey without stating age for use of this toy ??

I was unsure this would work. It’s an excellent product. Definitely recommend.

Never tried this technique of wax resist but this definitely works great I personally think it's value for money it will be lasting me along time
