No complaints. Metal is quality and a good weight (it could be a tad heavier) but not not enough that I would think of returning. Don’t be fooled; the wood handle does get hot hot. Recommend getting it wet or use towel if using it for extended periods of time. I would purchase again

This grill press works exactly as you would expect. Great when frying bacon to keep from curling. Makes perfect grill marks even when cooking in skillet. Delicious Smash burgers! Great purchase.

We use these for everything! If you want a perfect even toast of bread on a pan these are perfect. We use them to smash burgers, hold down chicken while cooking, toasting bread, grilling steaks. They're heavy and made of cast iron. They clean well but you absolutely have to hand dry them after, if you leave a drop of water on them they will rust. The handles come off easily to re season them if you need but they do come seasoned. The handles dont get hot either its perfect. They're easy to use and do their job well. Storing them is easy, they're small enough that they fit with the pots and pans. Love these!

This is just what we expected. Very heavy and well made. It cleans up easily. Great deal!

Debated for some time on whether to get stainless or cast iron, brand name (like Weber) or something like this. Very happy and satisfied to have gone this route. These aren't small at all, especially the round burger press. Not only does it add welcome weight - but not too much to make it unwieldy - but any burger of any reasonable size won't squish out the sides when pressing. I guess if you're making a 16 oz megaburger it might, but haven't put that one to the test yet.Both presses have a pleasing heft to them, just enough to do the job - whether it be burgers, bacon, or whatever - and I like the smooth stainless finish. Didn't stick at all, and WAY easier to clean than cast iron without any seasoning or rusting worries. These not only do the job - they do the job better.

Heat them on the grill before you smash them. Works great.

They feel pretty solid, have a good heft to them.Two screws hold the handles on, but the timber was unfinished. Could have been nicer with a finish applied. The two different patterns is interesting, but should still do the job. Will see how easy they season, but that isn't going to be a fault of the weights themselves.

The stainless presses are great but the bases are riveted to the handle and they need to be sanded flat or could scratch non-stick surfaces.The presses are a good weight so should to the job on bacon and burgers, but might need more weight for chops or steak.
