Great Product, Great Price, Easy Install
Bought two of these for my 98 F150 extended cab which is lifted about five inches and has 35 inch tires. Wife was complaining it was getting too difficult to get into truck. Reading reviews on here, I was preparing myself for a difficult install. Boy was I wrong. The hardest part was drilling four pilot holes for the self-tapping screws to go into. Had both steps on in 30 minutes max. Being that these steps attach to the body of the vehicle and not the frame, they do flex or move a little when weight is put on them. No worries about them breaking off though. The adjustable height is nice for lifted trucks. For the price, looks, and ease of install, you can't beat it! Both the wife and I love them!

Great Product
I gave the item and instructions a quick revue as I had limited time. I thought it would not work for my 2002 Silverado and was in the process of returning it. I gave the steps and instructions a more thorough look and determined that it does work for my truck. The directions were easy to follow and I attached them to my truck in short order. They are all you advertised them to be, sturdy and well made. Thank you so much for a fine product. Sincerely, Gerald Burback

Step is oversized for the mounting bracket
Someone needs to review this product and try to fit the step into the bracket. When I went to install the step (not my first rodeo). I had to take the set screw completely out and spread the mounting bracket in order to get the step to fit.Once the bracket was mounted on the step, the screw was to short and was unable to be used to tighten down the mount. Additionally, the mount was so tight that when the step was "forced" into the mount, it damaged the paint.SO glad I only purchased on "test" step before ordering the second one. Would not recommend purchasing this step until the manufacture overcomes the problem. On a positive note, it is a good quality, nice looking step. Just can't mount it!

Worth the money, but use your own high quality sheet metal screws.
EDIT---AFTER ONE YEAR OF DAILY DRIVER USE---the powder coating is completely gone from the front side of these and they are completely rusted. Also e top of the step around the plastic insert is rusted. Still holding up well physically, but cosmetically the manufacturer could do a much better job. Since the insert is plastic they cannot be re-coated and baked, so will like coat with somesort of liner material. If you don't mind that, these are still a great buy.First off, for the money and the look, I don't think you'll find a better deal. I was skeptical about these mounting to the rockers and not the frame, but when installed properly, they are rock solid. The mounts are made for GM trucks, and fit the body line inside the rockers perfectly, without the need for any of the adapters provided in the box. I installed these on a 2004 GMC 2500HD crew cab, and they fit perfect and hold my 225 pounds wih ZERO flex. I even bounced on the step with my son underneath watching the mounting points, and it bounced the truck with no flex in the step or the rockers. The package has several adapters for other styles of rockers on other brands of trucks, and although the hardware isn't heavy duty, I suspect it would be sufficient. Now, as for the "sheet metal screws" the manufacturer provides with the step. Well, my advice is throw them in the garbage. The first step took three hours to install, due to the fact that the screws would not grab the sheet metal, even after stepping up the size of the pilot hole multiple times. Save yourself the headache, and go to Lowes and pick up some #14 x 1" self tapping metal screws. With these screws in hand, the second step took less than 30 minutes to install. The only other thing worth mentioning is the step surface. It's a hard molded plastic, and I'd much rather see it made of rubber. But like I said from the start, for the money, look, and quality, I don't think there's a better deal available.

Easier to put together before installing
I found it easier to put the steps together before you install them on your vehicle

Bullying through installation
I was very satisfied with the design and sturdiness of the step. Installation instructions along with video were problematic. No video of the actual step model which I purchased. Which had different size measurements. The supplied additional installation brackets to be used to fit different truck models was confusing. Would be great to show video how they actually are applied on the different undercarriages. After guessing what shape my 99 Toyota tacoma looked like compared to the drawing in the instruction manual ( would be helpful to suggest possible make and model of truck under each drawing)I stopped trying to fit the "C" bracket and ended just using the "U" bracket. After installing I'm crossing my fingers that it will continue to hold my 230# weight. Looks real sharp on the truck hopefully it will remain functional.

Need to drill holes in brackets for Ram 2008 to 2018.
I took my Ram in for an oil change and tire rotation. While on the rack, the tech broke both steps. Dealer told me to order new one's and they would install them. I ordered them from Amazon, they arrived in two days, and the dealer installed all at no charge. They look great, are really sturdy, and took the dealer less than an hour to install. All for less than $110 bucks. I'm happy!

Great Product
These steps are the BOMB....they are rugged, VERY sturdy, and wide. We just put them on our 2002 Chevy 2002 but they would look great on a beefed up Jeep or anything beefed up.

Worth every penny, works/looks great.
Easy to install once you watch one of the several YouTube examples, a better way to figure out the installation than the written instructions. I just bought one to check it out then bought another for the other side of my truck once I saw what a good product this is. My truck is a 2005 Ford F-350, a high climb without a step and these worked great.

Some skill is required to install
Note - Very solid when installed properly - The finish needs to be redone depending on driving conditions - Salt in winter is the main one - Love the steps - I've had 2 sets on this truck now - I have spares in case I break on (did it - hooked onto a piece of wood sticking out of a snowbank - Most important is the wife likes them - That's a win.
