I can’t really say enough good about this thing. It came in the “frustration free packaging” which I am NOT a fan of when it comes to gift giving but in COVID times one cannot be too picky. The experience though of opening this toy was soooo fun for my nephew! Between the crowbar and the lock and the chain and the crate that the monster literally POPS out of… 10/10! Toy itself seemed durable enough though the tongue worries me a little but toys are toys and they will all break eventually. The growls, gurgles, rumbles, and snarles are adorable. The way it shakes is adorable. The way you can record things for it to say back to you was super fun and my nephew kept making it growl in HIS voice LOL!! Really a hit for the 4yr old that got it!!

My son adores this toy. It is super fun!Only complaint was that the batteries that came with it arrived dead. That was disappointing while unboxing, but we had replacements on hand, so it worked out.

I only got it because my kid wanted one so bad for his birthday. Originally I thought how could they be possibly worth the money but it actually does quite a bit and the box that it comes in is really cute, in how you open it with a crowbar and of course you can put him back in and reopen it a million times. He records your vioce, plays it backwards, yawns, eats a marshmallow, and more. It's supposed to move its wings when you squeeze a little air pump in the tail but it really doesn't work very well. But that's a pretty minor detail for an actually pretty cool toy.

I ordered two of these toys for my grandson for Christmas. The first one arrived with corroded batteries and connectors . I requested and received another one. That one also arrived with corroded batteries and connectors. Additional batteries come with it but because of the corrosion, the batteries don’t work.The product would probably be fine if the toy was sent without batteries in the battery compartment.

This was a Christmas present and appeared very promising until it was discovered inoperable due to batteries included inside being corroded. We just received the replacement today and lo and behold one of the batteries was again corroded and the contact slightly rusted. We were able to clean the contact and replace the batteries with our own; the toy is working for now. It’s wonderful that batteries are included but they should be put safely inside the packaging and not the toy itself because you never know how long the toy will sit.

My 4 year old loves this toy! As most parents know on birthdays and store visits you buy a toy and two days later they are done playing. This toy is not the case with my son. He enjoys "taking care" of him.Notable Features:•The Crate Creature (cc) can be put to sleep by putting him on his back•CC can record yours or your child's voice by pushing the stomach.•Can flap his wings by squeezing tail.•Comes with food that he eats.•When you shake CC he growls and roars.Pros:•Feels like a good price for a premium toy.•Seems well made and of good quality.•The packaging is amazing and if like my son the box the CC comes in is really part of the toy itself.•Lots of features that will keep a child entertained for longer than average toys.Cons:•The tail that you squeeze to make wings flap is kinda hard to push and my 4 year old is not strong enough to do it on his own.•The voice recorder is supposed to replay the voice it records in a CC voice, unfortunately doesn't distort it very much at all.• some parts like the nails on his feet are starting to lose paint, so don't give to kids that would chew the paint.REMINDER!!!!!Please when you get this toy look inside his head and switch the switch off of demo and into play mode.

Got this guy on Black Friday deal. Read the reviews about the battery, he was cheap enough I took a chance. They were corroded in there, but I took them out, scraped off as much gunk as possible and put new batteries in. He works great. Big fun. Like that you can record your voice. Makes fun sounds. Granddaughters are one and three and really like him. Would love to find the yeti for the same price!

My son was so bummed because the video for this showed a remote, but this one didn’t come with one. Must have been an older model.
