Great kit for the price. Not the highest quality stamps, but the maul and the swivel knife almost justify the price by themselves, making all the stamps a nice extra.

The package I ordered was the hammer, the tooling set, 3 red stylus, 4 wood handled stylus, and the swivel knife. This was a good beginner value for my money. However my complaint is largely with the hammer. The flat top kept coming unscrewed every 10 taps or so when carving and tooling. It was a huge pain, I'm going to glue it down to prevent this.The set of stamps was good enough, but for the design I needed more than what I was given. For a beginner set, one doesn't really need the flower or the butterfly stamp... there's no practical use for them honestly. I had to get smaller and bigger sizes of some of the bevelers and shaders. But other than that it was fine.

Nice set of tools for someone getting into leather working. I love the maul as it’s perfectly sized and weighted for my hand.

I bought this set for my husband back in May 2021. His smaller beveller just broke on 2/24/2022. Just over 6 months of use on it. The hammer kept becoming loose so we have already had to replace that as well. For a starter set this was great. I guess we are on our way to buying replacements already.

A great little start up kit

I am just learning leather carving and I really like this kit. Good quality products for the price.

I was greatly disappointed in the quality of the red handled tools. the metal is so thick it will be difficult to put an edge on it for undercutting. The wooden handle tools seems like there's four of the same thing when they're a little different but not enough to justify why there's four of them instead of four completely different tools. The swivel knife looks very good. The mallet it's got some good weight to it and seems like it'll be good. The punch tools for pet making patterns and whatnot with the mallet look like they're adequate.

Works as described. Great value for the stamps.
