All I have to say is these are the most realistic battery-operated candles I have found on the market! They are made of real wax. The flame is a 3D flame and boy is looks so real when they are on it is crazy! I have many Luminaire products and I love them, but these are a notch above them! The remote control allows you to turn them on and off with ease and you can set a timer also. Want to lower the lighting? That is easy with the remote control brighten and lower flame brightness feature. They are really amazing candles and I am definitely getting more and so are everyone that saw them at my 4th of July party this weekend. I just got them so I can't attest to how long the batteries last. My set runs on 2 AA batteries. I've had them on every night for a week and they are still going strong, I'm going to invest in some rechargeable batteries for these. The flame flickers and moves just like a real flame. I highly recommend these candles to anyone. You will not be dissapointed

I haven't had to change batteries still and it has been coming on daily 7 days a week for 5 hrs at a time since my initial review posted in Aug. I still love seeing this every morning 👍------Original ---->I bought this for my new lantern to use at home in my office (I work from home) and it was the perfect size. The wax feels real, maybe it is, I'm not 100%. I left the plastic wrap on to keep dust off it. The flame looks so real even in daylight and moves by itself! The tip of the "flame" has like a burnt cinge to make it more lifelike. Excellent quality! I noticed this morning that when you have it set on the 5hr timer and it goes off, that the next day it will auto turn on the same time you turned on the day before, so to my shock I came to my office and saw my candle on, freaked me out thinking someone was in the house🤣 that is the coolest thing ever. Definitely getting value for your money! I think you can order a remote control separately as well if you want, It would be a good idea if you had alot of them. I've used this every morning for I think 2 weeks now and battery still going. I have to pull the blinds up in the office because my cat HAS to look outside, since it's 4:30am when I get up for work and dark out still, so the light this gives off is so beautiful! The lamp in here is a bit too bright and i dont want someone to be able to fully see me if for some reason someone is outside 😂 I'm actually going to be buying a 2nd lantern and another one of these candles for our bedroom. Perfect ambience anywhere in your home! This is how you know your getting old when you get excited about a dang candle, im only 36 geez 🥲🤣Ladies just buy this now, I swear you will not regret it at all! The flame moves around making it look just like a real candle. Unless you are very close, it looks just like a real lit candle! And I love that it is wax- makes it look even more real and feel real too. Bottom of candle has option to set for 5 hours or on continuously. Remote has 4 hour and 8 hour timer options and the remote has an up and down arrow button that you can select 4 levels of brightness. The timers are so neat. You can start it whenever you want,...if you set it for 4 hours starting at 7:05 pm, for example, it will go on from 7:05-11:05pm and then shut off and automatically go on every single day from 7:05pm-11:05pm! Cool!I have the candles on my piano at my home studio and my students love them! They also keep me calm and relaxed when I practice piano. I also move the candles next to me on the table next to my couch when I read at night. These candles have the same calming effect as real lit candles! I am super happy about this purchase!! A+++. Highly recommend!!! Just test them out when you buy them and make sure they work properly. I had to send them back and get a better set because first set, one candle didn't function properly, but the ones I have now work perfect!

Looks realistic. Decent price, takes only 2 batteries vs some candles using 3. Has a nice flicker to it. Not too bright, but brighter than some of my other brands of candles that are more yellow. So it gives a nice contrast with my other types of battery candles.

Realistic looking candles that take AA batteries. I had looked at some more expensive flickering faux candles at pottery barn but the flame was a flimsy piece of paper. These candles had a more realistic 3D flame that moves like a real flame. There is the option of 5 hours timed, always on, or off. Looks great and safer than real candles.
