IMPRESSIVE shredder! Put it to the test!
The Bonsaii shredder is clearly a major step up from the ordinary home type shredder handing tough jobs with ease. I had difficulty deliberately causing it to jam by feeding too much paper. rated at 12 sheets and it can handle that. +12 still works. Easy pull out storage Bin with spacious room for a lot of paper. The shred itself is micro squares really through at hiding print which is the main point of a shredder. Surprised at the LOW noise level during shredding. Number of pages does not increase noise. Safety features - if Bin is not secure will not start. LED indicators for overheat, & paper jam.TEST #2 - shredded copy paper 8-12 sheets at at time for 45 minutes non-shop. Unit handled it without complaint. 35lbs shredded paper.Test #3 Shreds fine old plastic expired credit cards

Great Shredder!
I read most of the reviews on this shredder and decided to try it out. I really like this shredder, it's not too loud, and I've shredded about 10 to 12 pages at a time, and it does the job. I like that the bin is quite large so it hold quite a bit. It shreds everything in tiny micro cuts pieces. I would definitely recommend this shredder.John

Shreds well and quiet
I like the micro cut and the quiet operation. Has no problem shredding 3 triple folded sheets in it's envelope.. A lot quieter than the Fellowes I 12 sheet that I previously had that sounded like a jet! Nice size paper catch bin. Feel it's a little flimsy taking it in and out to empty. Has to go back in perfect! It even says, in instructions and show us a picture of the space if it's not in right or it won't work! The operation buttons could be better. Also kind of flimsy not easy switching to different settings and clicking it in. Feel like that may be an issue in the future. But overall a good shredder

Gets The Job Done
Have been using for a few weeks now and works as advertised. It shreds papers into very tiny pieces. The bin is not the biggest that I have seen, but it does hold an adequate amount of paper. Have not had any issues with jamming to this point, but I don't usually shred more than 5 or 6 sheets at a time. One piece of advice.....when you finish shreding your items, run the shredder in forward position for a few seconds. This will keep anything that is just hanging in the cutter from falling in the unit when the basket is removed. The unit will automatically shut off when shredding is completed. There is an internal fan that will run for a couple of seconds before it shuts off.One thing to note: this shredder is not as quiet as I thought it would be, or as others have claimed in their reviews.

Quality for Price! No Clogging No Problems! Shred Shred Shred Away.
Right out of the box plugged I'm and started using. Well first opened up the basket area, glad I did the wheels were wrapped up, didn't realize came with wheels but hey Simply just snapped in and good to go. The shreder worked great, prob shredded for a good 35-40min before I decided to stop for the night. The shreder i replaced i had for approx 10yrs, was a little bigger, not quite double the size. Anyways never was as good as this one is. Even though smaller because it shreds it up more can actually fit more in it, doesn't clog like the other one did. Would after a good few minutes take the basket out clean out the shred part and tons would always fall out. This one for as much as I did in a short period only had a few pieces fall down if rubbing fingers along the blades. Tried various amounts, it says 12 sheets, I would say with little to no problem. Didn't have any CDs to try but did a few cards and not an issue.Hope it keeps this up and I'm not pre maturely speaking highly of it, after one extensive use. Just was amazed how well it worked, compared to my other one and other used in the past, even at the office. I will say my other one got me through nearly 10yrs of use, so if this one last even half as long and stays just as good, def worth the money.

Stop looking any further! This IS the one!!
So I spend hours looking at different shredders, reviews and was going crazy in circles. Seemed every single one including those over hundreds of dollars had some kind of negative like overheating, not lasting long etc... I guess I was expecting the 'perfect' shredder and not expecting them to overheat etc .. since the VERY old Royal shredder I have is when crosscut shredders first came out. Never realized needed to oil etc... for a shredder and it stills work but you can still read bits of the paper soooo thought it was time to step into 21st century and get a micro shredder and i'm so glad i did!! Can't read ANYTHING. So how did I choose this one? One of the reviews a guy was feeding this shredder with cardboard boxes! No joke! I figured if it could handle cardboard boxes, it's pretty durable. Now I'm just looking to shred paper for a friend's compost so no plastic or stables but I do shred a lot for my business. I was saving a huge box of paper to shred for weeks anticipating a new shredder to try it on. One of my concerns is shredding too much for too long and waiting for cool down. I just want to shred and shred not wait for cool down. Well I don't know what the time limit on this shredder is but I was shredding away well over an hour and NO ISSUES at all. Hubby asked if I was trying to kill it lol I kept feeling the shredder to see if it was hot or anything as my old shredder you could feel a bit of heat on it. Nope! Not this shredder. The only time I stopped shredding was to empty the bin. One thing I noticed is my old cross cut shredder would leave a mess trying to empty it (same bin style as this one) because paper would be stuck on the head part where it shreds. I'd have to unplug it and pull out chunks of the shredded paper out and stick a pointy envelope opener in between the blades - royal pain with the royal shredder lol Not this one! I looked under the head of the shredder expecting some paper up in the head/shredding part but nope! Nothing there! I guess that's the advantage of micro shredders? I don't know why people feel the need to put bags inside the bin - totally unnecessary but I would have done that with my old messy cross cut if I would have thought of that!So I read about people feeling the need to unplug it and I never unplugged my old one but was going to with this one but totally forgot until I noticed few days later it was still plugged in but thankfully no issues. I did turn it off but that's just habit for me. Oh and quiet! I never realized that was an option for a shredder. I watched tv while sitting on the floor shredding and never thought I'd be able to do that. Also this shredder just seems like it's built hard like a tank so I can understand why that one reviewer ran cardboard through it and said you can't kill it. I don't think you canI'm happy with it. Oh yeah just a heads-up, there appeared to be one or two micro shredded paper in the head as well as oil so I thought maybe this was used and returned but there's no way with the Styrofoam inside the bin - it's tough getting that out without breaking it so then I realized they pre greased the shredder which was nice. As far as oil idk if I'm gonna use any. I've read mixed reviews but mostly people saying it causes jam so on the fence about that. So you can stop driving yourself crazy researching and reading reviews like I did because this shredder is the one without spending couple hundred of dollars!
