Looks like photo, high quality
This is a good quality item. Note that the screws to mount it mount from below (that is they screw up from inside item to handle on outside). The screws seemed long enough for most applications, but I had to buy longer as I was using it on a wooden box of 1/2" thickness. NP.

Cheap plastic bases
Pretty, but made out of brittle plastic at the base .

Screws too small
The screws that shipped were too small, I think they were #6 I used larger #8 to fasten the handle to the case.

The handle is on and it looks great.
The airline broke the handle off my sister's carrying case for her vintage Singer sewing machine. I put the new handle on and it looks great.

Looks and feels cheaper in person
Needed a red luggage handle to match a dark red instrument case. This is about the only option I could find in red. The entire handle is plastic, textured to look like a leather handle with stitching. That’s fine. What worries me is, what I thought were brass brackets are also plastic. I thought they were going to split when I was driving in the screws, but so far they remain intact. They just don’t instill a lot of confidence that they will hold up under weight and normal use for very long. We’ll see!UPDATE: It’s garbage. Lifted a suitcase that weighed 20 pounds, the plastic brackets cracked, and the screws stripped right out.

Should be installed properly and with diligence
It is ok for the price. However due to the plastic material of the handle support, it may break easily through the time. But all depends on how meticulous the installation was done.For me I installed it well as an engineer and I am happy with it

Worst purchase ever made.
Cheap quality and not as described. The handle is NOT of “PU Leather”, it is of plastic, and it is not “sturdy and durable”. The mounting brackets look like solid brass in the photo but are actually made of plastic. The screws supplied are too short to go through the briefcase material so I had to use the original screws that came with the brief-case that needed the handles to be replaced. All four mounting brackets cracked and one already broke at the top where the pin goes through the handle. Photos and descriptions indicate that these handles can be used to carry tool boxes and guitar cases. Seriously??? I’d be nervous to carry an empty brief-case with these brackets.
