Warranty Scam
Bought this resistor to replace one that had completely failed, as in the blower did not come on at all when commanded. This replacement lasted 2 months, was erratic when changing speeds but worked. It then stuck on high and would not shut of with the ignition. 12 month warranty was stated, would not allow a return of item and seller would not honor warranty. Went rounds with amazon to get a refund. Problem is it was not a full refund, they charged me $5.50 for damages even though the product is defective and was returned on the original package and should be under warranty. Scam to me.

Works in 2007 Chevy Trailblazer Automatic Control Panel
The replacement parts for this were wrong at Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts. The replacement parts they have will not fit, so I turned to Amazon and the picture looked identical to my part. It WORKS! The price is right, the installation is fairly simple. I used a flat head screwdriver to pull out the orange tab on the old broken module up underneath the passenger dash (under glove compartment) to remove the old plug and this one snaps right in. I have heat and defrost again! My initial problem was the heater blower was not shutting off on my trailblazer when I turned the engine off/removed the key from the ignition. I had to pull the blower fuse out under the hood to shut it off and ordered this part for replacement and it worked. Just in time for the cold weather! Next day delivery, no issues for a week now, will update if anything changes. One thing is certain, I won't buy a Chevy again...(one of multiple issues with this vehicle).

Direct Replacement- easy to install
Arrived on time - fits perfectly and connections to the wiring from the dashboard and to the blower motor connected easily. The " ears " on the connection from the module to the blower motor broke easily during Installation but the connection could be made successfully. I tested and the module is working. The fan speeds adjusts slowly ( this is a digital control system ) when manual changes are made. This is the third module in about two years. Will update review in about 6 months on durability and functionality.

Replacement for 2003 Tahoe
AC blower kept running after I shut off the vehicle. After searching the internet I found an article that pointed me to this part. Plug and receptacle fit perfectly so no re-wiring was required. One small caveat. Now after I shut off the car the blower runs for a second or two before it shuts off which was not the case before but it shuts off and AC is good to go so I can't complain.

Works but......
Ordered this Blower motor resistor to remedy the non operating REAR HVAC fan in an 2006 GMC Yukon XL with automatic temperature control. The product description said it was for the front HVAC, that said the connectors and size looked compatible. I got it to work but ran into the following issues.1). There are 2 sets of mounting holes on the replacement. The outermost on the left side had to be trimmed off to fit against the housing.2). Said mounting holes on the OEM piece were at a 30 degree angle to fit flush into the housing. The replacement BMR did not have that so as it tightened into place there was an air gap between the BMR and the housing. This was remedied with duct tape to make it air tight.3). Even though the trucks plugs fit perfectly into the BMR the second I plugged it in the fan motor started operating even though the key was out of the truck. Adjusting the controls did nothing. I also noticed that even though the fan motor was running there was not any air coming from the vents. A quick check determined that the voltage was reversed coming out of the new BMR causing the fan to run without the key and run backwards. I reversed the power inputs on the 3 lead connector going into the BMR which corrected the problem. I am very happy to have rear heat and AC again in my Yukon XL. The fan works perfectly at medium and high speeds but doesn't seem to operate at low speed. Regardless if it doesn't break in a few months I am very satisfied with the product.Since this seems to be unique to other reviews I put down the experience to my using it for the Rear HVAC system and not the front as in the product description. That said i was unable to find a BMR that specified rear application and automatic climate control. I would recommend the product.
