Granted, I may be handier at assembling things than most, AND, this was a simple, logical, well-documented assembly and installation of the Amico fan. The folks that had a complaint about things not fitting together properly simply didn't follow the instructions. There is one step where you have to align 4 holes, one of which has a projection that fits into the piece below it in only one position - if you get that wrong, it won't assemble correctly. Just take your time - everything actually fits together perfectly.I could take off 1 star because the instruction manual makes you interpret the images without a lot of supporting text, and a couple of the pieces (screws) in the images are super tiny - hard to see the details. But at no point was it unclear what to do next - the manual is vastly better than most.The fan finish quality was excellent and appropriate for the price point. The remote is better than many that come with the lower end fans. It has a delightful "breeze" mode that cycles up and down in fan speed, like a breeze blowing through your window.But it's the quietness that is so stellar. On the lowest speed ("1"), it moves a modest amount of air - like for sleeping - but is absolutely dead silent. On "2" it is barely audible, on up to "6" where it's pushing a lot of air and still isn't loud or obnoxious.Bottom line: this is a great fan, especially considering the price.

Really cool fan, no pun intended. The white and wood look works perfectly in the room it was installed in. I installed it myself with no electrical experience and it was not easy, but not terribly difficult. Another person to help install to the ceiling would be nice but I had a ladder to help. Like the dimmable lights and the changeable warmth of the light. It moves air around pretty well and I like that it has 6 settings. Good deal.

My inebriated acquaintance had a somewhat challenging install, but the performance is very good. The installation was made difficult due to more assembly than expected. The airflow, noise level and easy to use 6 speed fan are a plus. The easy to adjust light level controls are also useful. The 42" size is a works. One thing, the round button that turns off the fan, the bottom of this button changes the direction and it is pretty easy to accidentally change direction.

we installed two of these and LOVE them! They have multiple light settings as well as fan speed. They look very high end and have a great price point. Remotes are very nice and easy to use. The distance of hang down from the ceiling is really great, absolutely perfect. Great alternative to air conditioning. Can have fans on without the lights and vis versa! Very happy with the quality!

I was looking for a new fan at my new place. Picked this one because of the lower profile. I’m very happy with the results. Installation instruction confused me a little bit, but it was my first time installing a ceiling fan. I like how it look, and the functions are very streamlined and nice. The higher speeds seem a little too powerful so I keep it around a 2 or a 3. The ability to change the lights with the remote is nice too. On higher speeds it wobbles a bit so I might tighten the installation. My socket housing was 6in across but has popcorn “stucco” on it, but it fit well. The ability to change the blades is nice too, but I just keep it on the veneer wood color. The remote sells it cause I used to have to get up and pull the strings on my old fan. Good price, surprised by how much it made my space look cleaner and better compared to the old fan I had. I’d say try it out if you’re trying to spruce up your place.

I have to start by saying this ceiling fan came with the best set of instructions and use than anything I’ve ever purchased from Amazon. Everything was easy to understand and pictures and diagrams were in color. Just awesome.This fan replaced an older five-bladed fan that had stopped working. Surprisingly, the three blades provide as much airflow as the old fan.Assembly was easy and straightforward and the included remote is great for having all the controls available at bedside.The fan is very quiet with no rattles or other annoying noises that would interrupt sleep. It seems well made and is perfectly balanced with no wobble. I’ll most likely buy this same fan for two other bedrooms as well given how nice looking and effective it has proven to be

This was perfect for my bedroom. The instructions were not too bad but I did have my son help me like keep it up high so I can connect the wires and all that good stuff but it’s excellent and it goes up to six speeds and it really shoots off a lot of air. I love it. I need it for my menopause era 🤣🤣🤣🤣

First, it was refreshing that the Amico ceiling fan came with the installation guide that is very clear and easy to understand, better than the Legos guide, lol.Second, this is my 2nd ceiling fan install, replacing the first what I think was from Walmart in my house back in 2005 until the fan motor was dying and the light just doesn't want to turn on with the pull chain. The 2nd fan installation experience with Amico is easier than the first fan. Thee remote control to control the lightings, fan speed, and fan direction all are a big plus. Fan is quiet.Some minor negatives that take away a star:The screws for the junction box are too short, so I used the original longer screws to hold up the fan mount.The ceiling fan don't retain your settings if you turned off the wall light switch, or if there is a power outage.Don't lose the remote, and don't leave around with dogs with pica. There are no pull chains or switches with that ceiling fan.
