Love it!
Very happy with thise reel. I have been hooked on the Pflueger Supreme XT's lately and have a number of them. I decided to mix it up and try something different with a new, ultralight rod I purchased. I gave this one a shot and couldn't be happier. It is very light, and very smooth. It's an ultralight rig so until I have a four pound largemouth smash my bluegill lure, I won't really have a chance to test the drag. However, it feels very nice if I pull the line to by hand.A great reel, and I plan on purchasing a larger size to go with this one soon!

High quality and very light
A very smooth and light reel. This would be my fourth Okuma reel added to my trout slaying arsenal. These reels are work horses . Let one of my fishing buddies use my setup , cus he was using something cheap from the 80’s. This was no fish story being told here… he casted bout 7 times and from the very first one , caught every time! That was pure joy for both him and myself to experience in the eastern sierras.

Pure bliss !
Paired with a med light abu rod for primarily snap jigging eyes. This reel is super light and extremely smooth. Meets and exceeded my expectations. Compared to reels twice the price it definitely holds its own.

Great reel!
The media could not be loaded. My favorite reel! Very lightweight, and strong. As smooth as can be. Looks and size match perfectly! Casting couldn’t be easier.

Very nice and very smooth
This reel is very nice. Took it out for some surf fishing and it casts far and it’s super smooth! Definitely recommend

Let down
How sad I love this brand I use the Okuma Inspira ISX Spinning Reel Blue Series on all my rods and they are awesome , I decided to try this one and the quality is not there . It is noticibly heavier and mine is defective . When reeling using the handles there is a friction point where you have to noticibly turn the handles harder to reel … this is unexeptable on a reel of this caliber . Returned it .

One of the best reels out there!
Bought this reel back in April 2024. I paired it with a Okuma guide select pro 7'6. I've caught countless brown trout on this set up and rainbows. I also landed a 9 pound pikeminnow floating a jig head and it reeled it in no problem. I run 10 pound braid main line and 5-8 pound leaders. I can cast 1/2oz spoons 100-125ft no problems. Good reel that's light weight and durable.

Exceeded my expectations out the box
Have not tested it out yet, but initial first impressions out the box is that this reel is gonna feel and perform like pure fire. This is my 3rd Okuma reel, zero complaints and value is amazing, so they must be doing something right
