Works great! Fixed my problem!
A friend had a mini wine fridge that was not holding temperature. She had a refrigeration Tec out to look at it twice and they told her there was nothing wrong with it. She bought another one and asked me if I wanted it. I brought it home and it worked fine but the compressor stopped running in the middle of the night but the condenser fan was still running. I replaced the PTC and overload still had the same problem. Then I installed this hard start kit and the unit is working fine.

No luck
Didn't have any luck with this hard start. I was an hvac contractor for many years and these were always handy to give compressor a boot. Oh well.. I'll hang on to them and maybe they will work elsewhere down the road

This part fixed my garage refrigerator.
My refrigerator stopped working out of the blue. I took the back plate off and cleaned the condensing coil. But the compressor would get warm but did not feel like it was running. I ordered the same start pack that was in the refrigerator, when I first put it in I thought maybe I was going to have to replace the refrigerator. The compressor was running but it was putting out warm air. Researching I found that, if the refrigerator has been off for a long time it will go through a drying cycle when you first plug it in. Checked about 2 hour later the refrigerator was not running at all. I was about to unplug it when it came on and started blowing cold air. I put a bottle of water in the freezer. The next morning the water was frozen solid. So glad I did not give up on it. It is working better now than it did before it died.
