They cut smoothly

Very surprised how well these work at this price. Router bits are super pricey at HD and Lou's. You couldn't get one bit for the cost of all of these. I'm not sure how long they last, as I just got them, but they worked great on the project I needed them for.

I bought these for cutting juice grooves in some cutting boards I was making but ended up not doing that project. I just made a set of yard Yahtzee dice and wanted dimpled holes for the numbers on each of the dice. I actually used it in my drill press. I wasn’t sure it would spin fast enough but I went slowly and it worked great—even cutting through the end grain of the 4x4 blocks.The set feels like it would work well in both hard and soft wood. My Yahtzee set is all construction grade 4x4 but I tested in a few pieces of maple (using a router) and they cut well without burning. Especially for the price, if you have a few light duty projects you need this type of bit for, should work well.

These are good quality router bits. The set of 4 is great value for cost and options. Each bit comes packaged in an individual case, so you can label and keep them organized. The cutting edges on each of the bits is clean and sharp. The shank length is ideal for your typical routers and CNC machines (that use routers).Four bits. Having the four different sizes is great for when you aren't quite sure what your project is going to require. Having the option to adjust the sizes is really great to get the exact cut you are looking for.Durability. So far, I have operated each bit through a couple of small projects (2-6 minutes of run time) and each is performing very well. The cuts are clean and the bits are balanced and working as expected. I have used these on both laminated plywood and pine wood, each has cut nicely.I am very happy with these bits.

I tried these out on some carving work I’ve been doing and I was pleasantly impressed by how they performed. Each bit cut well and did not bind up at all, leaving just smooth even cuts behind them.There was no flex in the bits that I could feel or see, so the cuts were nice and straight.I noticed that after working with the 1/4 in bit for a while (quite a while), the cuts were not as quick. This was to be expected, I suppose, and the bit didn’t seem to get any duller. It continued making cuts with no changes.I can recommend this set to anyone looking for a nice selection of sizes to do detail work.
