Q: What size battery does it take

I can't remember what battery it takes but the battery lasts a long time. Its one of the thin button batteries. I love this stopwatch. My first one lasted about 5 years before the display went wonkey. In all that time I replaced the battery once. I purchased another identical stopwatch and its coming up on 7 years old and still going strong. I highly recommend this product to you.

Buttons are stiff

The stopwatch function is typical and fine. However, you need to really push down hard to get the buttons to react and I've missed a number of races when using it simply because I didn't push down hard enough.

I'm most embarrassed to admit this, but my 10-year-old daughter usually has to show me how to operate various technological devices before I try them for the first time. I'm proud to say that with this stopwatch, she did not! This is very easy to use & comes in extremely handy in my coaching practices and at meets. LOVE this watch!!
