My 10 Year Old Likes It
What is there to say about this? Anyone familiar with the ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series will certainly see where this book has taken its inspiration from! However, that’s pretty much where the similarity ends. I mean, my 10 year old liked it but even he commented on how short the story is - a mere 90 pages with very BIG writing. It’s certainly not going to win the Pulitzer Prize but for anyone who’s a fan of Minecraft should like it just don’t expect it to last them a long time. He’s asked for Book Two so I suppose that’s a good review of sorts!

This was quite good
Good storyline. Sometimes laughed out loud! Interesting. Looking forward to the next book. Hope you enjoy it! (Luke, Age 7)

Not age appropriate
Bought for my minecraft mad granddaughter, aged 10 ..The text was too easy .was hoping to buy others in set but not after buying this one .

My son loved it but far too short
When we got this I thought it might be a little young for my son who is 11 but he loved it and wants the whole lot. I read it too and it is quite funny. He was certainly very happy with it. I was unsure whether to give it 4 or 5 stars because, as other reviewers have pointed out, it is incredibly short and took no time at all to read. You can buy a decent novel for less. To be really worth the price I'd say they should have at least three volumes in one.

Ok but font could be better
The font in the book is not the best but readable. Not too many words on page is good for new readers.

Daughter enjoyed it
Can't say I understand all the fascination with Minecraft, my daughter on the other hand loves it, to the point we have to hide the disc to stop her sneaking a game when we think she's studying.I think this book is great for the younger reader and she really seemed to enjoy it. I looked it over but didn't really take it in. For a Minecraft addict who prefers not to read then it's great.

Five stars but...
"It wasn't bad but I thought the ending was a little bit boring." & "Some bits weren't as good as others," "Apart from that it was great." These are the comments of the 2 eight year olds of he Sarak household who have read this work, along with "I really want to read the second one." So be warned fellow amazon account holders - a keen reader will finish it in under an hour and then start pestering for the 2nd one and the 3rd and all the other Minecraft related ebooks and they aren't as cheap. By the time they've got them all you will have spent more than you would on a long book.
