I wanted to add this piece to my Le Creuset collection and originally planned on a blue color. The oyster was on sale for quite a bit less so I thought, why not. It is a very lovely color and I wouldn’t hesitate to get another piece in this color. The pan itself is also the perfect size and made very well as is typical for the brand.

Cooks beautifully and has the advantage of having more of a handle than the regular or classic pot. Well-made, easy to clean. It’s a heavy duty pan with stylish looks.

This is a high quality product made to withstand high heat of a gas stove top.Other pans with coverings and coatings cannot stand the high heat and decompose-Probably into your food.

The Cassadou is one of the most versatile cooking vessels in the kitchen. Yes, it is a bit heavy. I owned the Cassadou in Sea Salt and decided I needed my favorite Le Creuset color Flame, so I gifted the Sea Salt to my nephew. He LOVES it. I have made soups, chilis, braises, sautéed vegetables. It is just perfect.

This is my 3rd Le Creuset Enameled cast iron pot. It is wonderful. I recently used one to make a loaf of sour dough bread and it baked perfectly. I love being in the kitchen and cooking and this pot makes it a pleasure. Yes, they are a little pricey, but the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. It is definitely worth the money. If you don’t enjoy cooking/baking, this pot may change your mind! Try it!

Heavy, high quality pan, cooks and cleans great!

This has become the workhorse of my kitchen. Meats brown evenly. Simmering- food seldom sticks. Lid seals nicely so flavors are enhanced. Also, cooks well on lower heat which is one of the advantages of cast iron. Plus it's pretty. I purchased the le Creuset iridescent knob and it's gorgeous.
