Squirrel and then raccoon!
It was a tad tricky to set up the first time but I figured it out by collapsing it down then trying again! We have a naughty raccoon that got one of our hens because the hens insist on roosting in a tree. First, we caught a squirrel. The squirrel was unharmed and shot out like a rocket as soon as I started to open the door! Quality is good. Not too heavy.Next, we caught a raccoon!! And my hens are ok!!

Works like it should and did not harm the animal.
It was a great buy. Easy assembly and very easy to use. I suggest you read the instruction sheet and look at the pics. I baited it with peanut butter. I placed the cage outside and a few hours later I caught this beautiful animal that loves to go thru trash. I released it out in the woods away from the city. He ran out of the cage and never looked back.

Good and works, but flawed in design
Catch reference: Using this on a stray cat that has been spraying my patio furniture. Perfect size for a cat.PRO: This product works- a cat has enough weight to trigger the pressure plate. Sturdy made and worth the money- $45 vs my local garden/hunt shop that sells for $90.CON: Major design flaw- the back/release door opens INWARD!! Not well thought out for a couple reasons. First- you do not want to put your hand IN the cage while you're trying to release the animal, and second- since the back door opens inward, it is difficult to put bait into the back of the cage. I have to thread it in through the front by either shoving my whole arm into the front or taking a long stick/tongs and pushing the food back. Same goes for food removal. When our "visitor" didn't show up, I had to have my husband shove his arm in the front with tongs to grab the leftover bait, so we wouldn't have to worry about other pests (ants), or other animals getting enticed enough to get caught.Bottom line: The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 3 is because of the price point. It is sturdy, and it works. It does have the minor inconvenience of design, but it also costs half of what my local garden and hunt supply sells them for.

Worked perfect
Easy to use and set up and break down again for easy storage. Good quality. Feels very durable when carrying a decent sized cat as well as secure

Mass Production
This had the possibility of being a good trap: BUT they should test their products. I found 2 severe issues with mine. The first was the L arm that held the door open, it was too short so I had to give the door an extreme lift to get it on the L. This created a problem with triggering. The lower part of the L was angled up and the vertical part of the L was probably 3/16" to 1/4" too short, thus the reason to have to lift the door to latch it open. It would not trigger because the amount of weight needed was extreme. I then tried placing the door bar on the very tip of the lower L bar. Not 100% functional. When it did trigger the raccoon would enjoy the can of cat food then leave because the door latch would just bounce on the bottom bar and remain unlatch. So the raccoon would just leave. Opinion: the flat latch was too long and the angled face just did not function as in the mental image. I tried for a week and gave up.

Easy to use
Super easy to set up. Need to manually adjust catch or sometimes it doesn’t latch, but that is easy to do. Been very handy in moving the local chicken food thieves away from the property.

Seems solid but with some issues
This trap looks pretty well built. But I have a couple complaints... 1st, as others have said, the back door folds inwards instead of outwards, so it is pretty hard to get the food bowl behind the sensor plate because your arm won't be able to reach all the way through the trap. So that was a pain. Then I got it all set up and watched the cat I was trying to trap go inside it and not trip the plate. I went out and tested it and the plate even pushed all the way down wasn't enough to make the door close. I don't know if it was because of the cold or what. The latch that hooks onto the door wasn't moving. I had to spray some wd40 on it and not engage the latch all the way on the door so it is just barely on there.. And put a rock on the plate.. Might need to modify where the latch hooks onto the door.. Also had to make sure the rod is pushed all the way under the plate or else the rod just kind of flexes when the plate is pressed, which also was preventing the door from closing... Just some trial and error... I'm just upset that it didn't work like it should. Someone was also mentioning that since the back door folds inwards instead of out, that you are unable to transfer the trapped animal to another trap/carrier easily. I figure it folds inwards so that the whole trap can fold up for storage, but would of been nice to also allow you to fold the door outwards... Still seems better built than the other traps and with less chance of the animal getting out.. Fingers crossed it works this time 🤞
