Cajun Land Jambalaya Mix is a great combination of Cajun and Creole spices. Just add your favorite Cajun meats such as smoked sausage with andouille and you are sure to have an authentic Creole meal. Jambalaya is a Cajun/Creole dish made typically in a large pot (cast-iron) from a mixture of Cajun meats, rice, and seasonings blended to produce a delicious dish. Similar in many ways to Spanish paella, the term "jambalaya" is derived from the Spanish 'jamon' for ham. Jambalaya is pronounced jahm-buh-LIE-uh or jum-buh-LIE-uh. Review: Simply the best. - Very good. Repeat customer. Review: Damaged - This item is over priced and the packageooks like it had been stored in a barn! I'm very disappointed.

Authentic taste, delicious
This is a very good tasting jambalaya mix. I received it as part of a gift pack, and was not disappointed. The flavorings and spices taste authentic, and overall is a next level mix over the brand I’ve used for years (Zatarains). I used smoked sausage and diced chicken thighs and it turned out delicious. I think it would be great with shellfish too.

Good stuff!
This product is $1.85 per packet on the Cajun Land website...way over priced in Amazon. Tasty packet makes enough for 2 if that's your entire meal.
