made a difference
I have a 1998 Ford f150 with a 5.4, not Ford's best engine, these got a defenite increase in acceleration, slight improvement in fuel mileage,

They are the wrong part for my 2004 ford f 150 and so are the spark plugs
Your parts fit list said they would fit my ford f-150, 5.4 lite, but the connection was in the wrong position and wrong angle it was just a disaster. Very unhappy.

Great coil pack and plugs.
These coils are identical to the ones I replaced the original coils with. They are really easy to install to the front of the engine but the last two plugs on the passenger side are tricky, however, that is due to a poor design of the engine and no fault to the coils or the plugs. If doing the maintenance yourself be warned that the plugs are easy to break in the engine block. Running the vehicle to warm the block does help or spraying WD-40 in the plug hole.I noticed a power increase immediately but that was because the old coils were bad and I had multiple miss fires due to the bad coils.I can not speak to how well this set will last but I will provide an update if anything happens to affect my opinion. The overall cost for both plugs and coils are well worth the investment.I can highly recommend this set.

Working fine so far
These ignition coils appear to be working fine.Been chasing a rich code in bank 1 of my 2002 expedition, and have changed just about everything I could think of since I had just replaced all 8 ignition coils with aftermarket units less than 6 months ago. However, upon removing all 4 from bank 1 and testing them with a multimeter, I realized the last one (of course the most difficult to reach) had failed and the resistance reading was almost null, and way under rated for the spark.I replaced all 4 from bank 1 with these and the vehicle is running noticeably smoother, without the rough idle and the rich condition on bank 1. Seeing how the ones I had purchased before already started failing, I might be replacing bank 2 ones with these as well.As far as the spark plugs I did not use them yet, since I had just purchased brand new OEM plugs for my vehicle, so I cannot attest to their performance. However, they appear to be solidly built.Seeing how these are also cheaper aftermarket options, I am only hoping they will last longer than the last ones, but time will tell.As far as a quick replacement on a budget, these seem to do a decent job, but due to its much cheaper price tag I don’t expect them to last as long as more expensive OEM units.

Ford F150 Hitting on All Cylinders Now
Nothing is worse than a miss on a Ford V8 because you feel it down to your bones when driving it. I wasn't sure if it was fuel (injector) or ignition, but my first instinct was to order these and bet on a bad coil. That was it. Bingo! It's a quick install on the longitudinally mounted V8 in a pickup with lots of space to get at the coils. Did the plugs while I was in there and they looked OK, but I still swapped them out too. I could tell which coil was bad in its core that I removed and all these new ones perform very, very well, and seem to be heavier and -better- made than the ones I'm replacing (which were also not the originals). Good coils!
