Inappropriate for a pen that retails for $125
Save your money and get yourself a Lamy Safari and a TWSBI eco for less than what you’d get for this pen. When you press “place order” under this listing you’re flushing your hard earned money down the TOLEDO. The omniflex nib is absolutely terrible and can’t in good conscience be called a “flex nib.” It’s a medium that bounces a little bit and skips all the time made of cheap steel. More effort went into the packaging than into the actual pen, because when I look at the pen, I don’t see $125 dollars. I don’t see that when it writes, or how it feels. The company as I’ve investigated seems to have very poor quality control and people have received defective products from them before. What a shame.

Solid Pen
Sharp looking pen. Writes well out of the box (which is also very sharp looking). Nib is a bit of a nail is my only quibble. For $35 it is far nicer than it has any reason to be.Edit: Have since swapped the nib, one of my favorite pens now.

Conklin
Excellent pen as it usually is. Conklin Pens are the standard in how I grade other pens.

Medium Pen for the Price
It writes but not as smoothly as a pen of this price should. Nib is scratchy and needs a fair amount of pressure or manipulation of the ink capsule/converter. There are better, more reliable pens available for lower prices.

Not the best quality in the build of this pen.
Low quality manufacturing. Rings were visibly off center and sharp to the touch, this one was returned.

Nice pen EF nib
The pen is over al nice, but has lots of feedback, might be expected with a EF nibbut it has a tendency to hard start. a medium nib might not have the sam problemwas good value for the money

Pretty pen but doesn't write
This pen just won't write. I got it with the Omniflex nib and true enough to the other reviews about Conklin & Omniflex nibs, it does not work. How unfortunate, because the pen body is really pretty. The barrel material is plastic and it isn't as nice as other fountain pens, but I like the striped design. However I cannot even use this pen. I googled to see if there is a way to fix it myself but it looks like there's a lot of online posts about Conklin Omniflex fountain pens being pretty but needing different new nibs. It cannot do the function it is made for, and since it's a light pen made of plastic I can't even use it as a paperweight. Disappointing.
