This is an Spanish game. And this means either a devir refried or a heavy war game. But no, it is a mid to heavy euro with known mechanics. This game does not invent something new. Mancala movements, worker placement, pay to build. But it is implemented on a great way. people are criticizing the theme and the mechanics. Theme is not important, it is a create anything. Author wanted to use Amritsar for whatever reason, but in reality, it does not matter. Have seen a couple commentaries, only valid one is the color design for the manual. Poor choice.

This game looks absolutely gorgeous on the table, which does a lot to make me keep bringing it out. I'm definitely enjoying the game the more I play it. This is one that will not be easy to grasp initially for most people, but begins to jive with time. I had to reference the rules quite a bit the first couple of plays, and worry it'll be one of those games that require a total relearn every time if not played for awhile. But, I did enjoy the the game and how it challenges you. It's a game of efficient plays, getting what will work best for you at the right time, knowing you won't be able to do everything. This is why I want to keep coming back. Each time I do just a little bit better, and that is what makes this satisfying. Also, the solo mode is quite challenging too! I think for the price, this game is quite a good value. Might be a sleeper hit for those who like a tight and demanding Euro. I'm glad that I got this in my collection.
