It took 2 months to get here. Then the returnable date is actually 2 weeks ( which I think was changed.) not the 30 days they claim. I tried to return it within the 30 days and they said it wasn’t returnable. The “instructions” are barely that, just 4 obscure pictures. We pretty much had to give up on them. Two of use put it together in about three hours. But it is useless. Barely wide enough for a small sports car (Boxster). Cover is not waterproof! Leaks all over the car and leaves some type of residue. So I had to put a car cover on the car!. Then the tent won’t actually stay down at one end and the Velcro has ripped. Which means I don’t think I can keep it up because the wind can get inside and will blow it away and damage the car. Do not waste your money with this. I want a refund and I will return it. Disappointed because I wanted this to work.

This is the first carport I have owned and I am happy I made the choice to purchase this particular one. I've seen other carports that look very similar to this one selling for upwards of $3,000 here. I will say, I am not sure what the other $2,300 would add, unless of course, it's a fully automatic model with powered open and close. This semi-automatic carport was easy to assemble, however, I do not believe it could be done with one person alone. My wife and I assembled it in roughly 2.5 hours start to finish. We live in SW Florida and I am writing this review after the carport has been through several thunderstorms with heavy rain and wind, although it does a fantastic job of keeping our car cool when the sun is blazing here. The carport is very sturdy and has had no problems withstanding the elements so far. It does not let water through and does not move left to right very much at all even in strong winds. It is important for me to say that The carport comes with a way to secure it to the ground with expanding masonry bolts, however, we full time in our motorhome and do not have this option. Instead, I secured the carport down using 6 heavy cement pavers weighing roughly 100 lbs each (~600 lbs total). When it stops raining I will take pictures and update the review so you will be able to see how I did it. Very easy once you have the blocks ready (I made mine using one 20" paver as the base and one 15" paver on top, glued with masonry cement). Then I screwed in eye hooks on 4 of them and secured the carport with stainless steel cables. Where it opens, I attached a bracket with circle latch to the pavers and heavy duty clips to the carport that keep it secured down but also allows the carport to be easily opened and closed. Overall, based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend this carport.

I have over 40 parts and NO instructions - I triple-checked.

So far has been three weeks since I’ve been using it. I live in northern CA in the wine country. I set this up on my gravel driveway. Product didn’t come with full instructions and it definitely is easier with two people.If you lay out all the parts you can figure it out looking at the photo in the partial instructions. I did this solo so took a bit longer. Total hours 8.You’ll need two 6ft ladders if doing it solo later inside the unit to set up the canopy to the arc bars.Comes with concrete expansion bolts but opted to use 12” spike stakes from Amazon to hold the unit down. I also use 8” spike stakes with hooks to tap down the forward ground bars to secure it to the ground.I’ll see how the stakes it hold up during the rainy season.It’s imperative that it is secured on the outside center where the unit hinges where the compression struts are located or else you won’t be able to lift the front end up for your car entry.So far it keeps my car clean going in four weeks. Had to wash it once a week. I also have an EV with a glass roof so temps get up to triple digits inside on a hot day. I’m looking at mid-80’s now inside the car if really hot outside. So far I’m happy with the purchase.I just such it wasn’t so tall since I have a sedan. If you have a tall midsize SUV it’ll work great.

Good product but not easy to assemble and very poor explanations provided

We received no instructions on how to assemble this with the product!!

Not even worth 100 bucks. I’m not able to fit my sedan car It would damage the front or maybe the back when you close it.And it is very cheap built

Easy to assemble with 2 people, all parts are clearly marked. Stainless steel construction eliminates rust concerns. Extremely easy to open and close with the struts providing the effort!Would like to purchase a replacement top for down the road but can’t find those listed separately (?)
