This light exceeded my expectations. It’s beautifully designed. Simple and elegant button layout combined with long battery life. Even includes a USB-C charging cable. I’m using this at home on both a home and a portable music stand with no issues. The soft, diffuse light is a joy when reading music and it covers a wide page too. There’s absolutely no glare or reflections in my glasses, so I don’t have to worry about that like I did with some other lights. The ability gradually control both the brightness and the color temperature is genius. It’s perfect. I can’t speak for long term durability as I’ve only had it for one month. But I love using this product. I would say it’s possible to use it as a portable light, but it’s not particularly small. Fits in a backpack or messenger bag, but not in my guitar bag accessory pocket.

I love the various brightness and color settings on this lamp! Perfect for different moods of performances. Hues of blue, white and orange give a good range to match the ambiance of a concert venue. Battery is easy to rechange with a USB cord included. Battery life is excellent! I forgot to recharge the battery between concerts a week amd a half apart amd had no problem during the concert. Battery life is easily noted by small lights on the lamp. Love this light! Easily twists to compress into a manageable space and fit into the bag carrying my stand. I have a soft protective cover to wrap the lamp in so the lighting area doesn't get scratched, but lamp does not come with a protective case or padding. Excelent product!

After my older music stand light would not fully charge, I purchased the Glocusent device. What a pleasant surprise. All kinds of nice features including color control, brightness control, long gooseneck arm and a very nice manual with a wonderful introduction by the designer Mason! Cudos Mason, your truly wonderful introduction to your company sealed the deal for me. I love this ligth! It does everything you could ask for and will fit any musical situation or other use for focused lighting. Well done Glocusent!!

Bought this to use with a Roland digital piano. I wanted something that could dim and this is perfect. I use it on the dimmest setting, with the color temp set to the warmest setting. It is almost orange, like a deep sunset. Very gentle on my eyes.I am using a tablet for my music, and this doesn't overwhelm the tablet screen. Very ready to see. Meanwhile it perfectly lights up the keyboard so I can find keys, change settings, out my headphones on or hang then up, an so on.I've already used it hours an hours just on the charge it had right out of the box. So I think since I'm using the low setting I'll get long life. But I'll probably connect a charging cable since I have a USB outlet next to the piano anyway.Buttons feel nice and precise. Clip has very strongb grip.Everything is very nice for the price.Highly recommend.

so far easily the best music stand light we've usedlike:good flood lightgood battery lifemulti page coveragedon't like:shines in eyes of conductor, and players on the opposing side of the orchestra, making it necessary to rotate the light up (the flexible arm is only so flexible) which detracts from the uniformity of the page illumination) - we're trying to glue a light shield/baffle onto the light, to keep the conductor and opposing players from bitching at me - we've got another light that has such a baffle built in, so the issue is well known/understood in the trade, but not necessarily respectedclumsy for storage (to carry around) - but not sure it is possible to mitigate - it is a problem with all music stand lights that we've ever usedthe on off switch (although aesthetically very pleasing and nicely integrated) is exposed to easily being tripped while transporting in an equipment bag - in other words, the light may accidentally, and without warning turn on, in which case the battery doesn't survive until the next performance/rehearsal)overall:if we can find a way to protect the on/off switch, and solve the light baffle issue, it seems we may have, heads down, found a preferred music stand lightwe can, with enough trial and error/patience/sheet plastic/glue solve the light leakage issuedon't see any way of replacing the on/off switch with a sliding switch - maybe we can concoct some kind of a snap on protective cover to protect the switch from accidental bumps - right now we put the thing in the accessory/travel bag, check the light for being off, and zip it up - then hope the switch doesn't get triggered by the other stuff rattling around in the travel bag . . . . .

Seems great, although I can't yet judge battery life or longevity. I have a music stand behind my digital piano to hold all my music, so I needed light. This particular light clamps on well, and the light itself is wider by a few inches than most of the others I checked out. There are several levels of brightness, although I like the brightest or perhaps the second brightest the most. You can change the color temperature to warmer, although I don't see myself using that at all.The light charges via a USB cord, so I got a wall charger plug to put the USB end into and can plug it into the wall rather than a computer to charge it. On arrival, the light had a charge but I topped it off and it didn't take long. I'm not leaving it plugged into the wall, so I'll see how long the first charge lasts.Overall, it's exactly what I needed. The neck is easily adjustable, the light bar itself isn't too large, the width of light is good to cover two open pages of music.The Light arrived quickly and well packaged.So far highly recommended.

I really wanted a lamp that didn’t have a cord running off the piano and across the floor. This clip works so well and the beam covers an entire 4 page piece of music. It’s sturdy and looks great. So pleased!!
