New formula?? Same flavor
I bought the original formula about 1 year ago. It’s a lighter color than this new formula, which only adds potassium sorbate (food preservative) to the monk fruit. I thought that would change the flavor too since the liquid is a lot darker in color now. I didn’t know and ended up buying it. I like that the new cap doesn’t need to be pressed down to open anymore. And the flavor tastes the same or maybe more potent in the sweetness. It doesn’t change the flavor of my drinks either. Overall, happy with it despite the food preservative. This tiny bottle can last me up to a year with occasional use for my drinks.

It's good!
This one is the best on the market. It has no added ingredients and is pure monk fruit. It tastes delicious. However, it needs to be refrigerated after opening, and it becomes a little thick (not too much), which makes it harder to squeeze out of the small cap. It's not a big deal, but one time, I squeezed too hard, and the cap popped off. Lesson learned.

Great product
I have been using it over a year now. I don’t have to worry about it causing cancer. Tastes good. I use it in my coffee.

Bottle consistency
The opening of this bottle is not consistent. The product is good, but the bottle opening varies; sometimes the product comes out with ease, and other times it hardly comes out. With this recent bottle, I am finding that the product is coming out too easily. No consistency.

Worth it.
Definitely need time to get used to it. This is sweeter than most other monk fruit liquids I have tried which really helps. Flavor for me is better than stevia but still has that lingering after taste.

Not that sweet
The claim that ‘6 drops = 1 teaspoon of sugar’ is exaggerated. In my experience, I need 10–15 drops in black tea to match the sweetness of a single teaspoon of sugar. While it *is* sweet, it’s far weaker than advertised. That said, I’ve been sugar-free for years and prefer an erythritol/monk fruit blend—it’s a true 1:1 substitute with no guesswork. This pure extract might work for light sweetness, but if you’re used to sugar’s intensity, temper your expectations. It works fine with less bitter drinks, Rooibos tea for example.

Monk Fruit
Perfect substitute in place of sugar. This option is 100 percent healthier! Monk Fruit is the best!

First-time user of natural sugar alternative
So, I want to be completely honest. I need to be completely honest. I don’t understand why people say there is no aftertaste. For someone with a lifelong love for sugar (and the blood reports and dentist bills to prove it), there is definitely an aftertaste.Review after review, blog after blog… they all claim “no aftertaste” with monk fruit! Maybe these are people who live in the world of sugar alternatives and maybe this is the best they have found.Today, I used it for the first time and put some in my morning coffee - I’m probably just better off drinking coffee without any sugar.I’m not giving up on this though. No calories and made from nature? Very creative and from what I’ve read amazing health benefits. As with anything, things can have an acquired taste. Knowing just how much of a culprit excess sugar can be as a determinant of inflammation and knowing how inflammation is at the root of almost every single lifestyle-based body illness, it is in my internal locus of control to limit excessive sugar in my life.I will keep at it with this product. It is very easy to use, it’s a small container but clearly will last a long time. Every single doctor has asked me to walk away from sugar. Every single study, every single piece of advice has asked me to walk away from sugar. So I’m going to use products like this to help tool me with alternatives.I bought this product with my own after tax income and wrote this review without any concession. I took the time to do the extra labor and write this review because this is not a cheap product but also a hassle to return. I want people to know the truth from my perspective as a sugar lover and as a first-time monkfruit user.EDITI realize I never posted the review… but now I will. I had the whole day to use it again. I put some in oat milk chai - it wasn’t bad! It had a nutty (like betelnut type of nut) kind of after taste. Still that is better than equal or stevia or whatever else is there. Then in the evening I made a limeade (lime, water, and lots of sugar usually) as a pick me up (bc otherwise coffee or tea will mean I won’t sleep). I used the monk fruit drops - for some reason the lime cancelled out the monk flavor… I think this is a great product.I will keep one star off bc I don’t think it tastes like sugar at all, it’s just completely different. Like date sugar tastes like sugar. A date tastes like sugar. Banana or mango tastes like sugar. A sweet apple can taste like sugar. This does not, but it does some kind of balancing act without all that saccharine taste.I also got the monk fruit + allulose 1:1 blend - I’ll review that separately. But both are pretty much the same. I think the taste will grow on me. If anything, I stayed away from 3-5 spoons of sugar today. Crazy.
