I've been building a quonset hut with my father and grandfather and the company didn't send us enough 3/16" rope caulk. Searching for a matching size was a nightmare and kept be busy longer than I want to admit. We needed another 15' to seal the end wall arch and another 32' to finish installing the industrial base connector. As you can tell, we needed a rope caulk half the diameter of this product, but I was confident that I could pinch or pull it into a smaller size to match. This product was not as tacky or soft as the original that we were supplied with; which was just short of toothpaste when unrolling. The first day, my grandfather watched closely (and skeptically) as I delicately unrolled and stretched this product to fit in between the drip edge and bolt holes on our end wall archway. Halfway through, he raised his eyebrows and exclaimed "That looks the same as the stuff they gave us." This is high praise from him.After the total success of the first use, I started finding other places to use this product in place of the usual tube caulk on our project. The picture that I included shows how it can be applied to the base of washers used to secure the industrial base connector, which also has a solid line of it near the rear underneath to prevent water egress. It can easily be pulled or molded into whatever shape or thickness we desire. The 5"x1/2" bolts went into the concrete and smooshed the ring of rope caulk out the sides in a perfect ring. This was far cleaner than the liquid tube-caulk they gave us to do the previous washers. We are already planning on using this stuff to seal the base of the end-wall panels and plug the gaps in the galvalume door frame. A pro tip: Make sure your surface is clean and dry before applying this product. If your surface is dusty or dirty, it will stick to your finger better than the surface; which is very frustrating.By stretching this product out so much, this 60' will be vastly more than we need to finish our project. I am glad that I didn't spend $1 a foot for subpar product or any of the cheap goop they gave us originally. I only wish I had this product before we started. 5/5 stars for an awesome product with a thousand uses.

Restoring... actually restomodding an old trailer.... well, actually, it looks the same but is totally otherwise redesigned and rebuilt... But, this product is still the best thing to use for mounting windows, J trim, door frame... etc. etc.

This tacky tape is plenty sticky and supple. The tape also includes four spatulas to assist in the application of the material. The tape is easy to work with as expected and there’s plenty of it 80’ total. No complaints with this tape.This tape was used to stop a leak on the seam of a livestock tank and I’m sure to find many more uses for the rest of it.

I became a a believer in the tape when I took down a metal building . The panels were striped with the tape and you could barely take them apart even after the screws were removed . In putting up metal roofs a 1/2 in strip on the lap seals the building so we’ll.

Using this for stopping the leaks in my aluminum porch covers the snow caus s the panels to part under snow falls ..too much weight an pulls them apart and they us e this he tap to stop the leaks.

I got it to help seal my windows on my camper. It seems like it works well and I don’t have any leaks.

Seals, fills, water-proof after daily storms for a week. I'm very happy with the quality. And with 4 big rolls, I think I'll never run out!

Lo pensé mucho porque se me hacía demasiado producto, sería un acierto que ofrecieran un paquete de dos rollos. Fuera de eso, se ve de muy buena calidad, no estaba derretido como imaginé que vendría, como dije, el empaque es excelente y no faltó nada de lo ofrecido.
