I would say definitely NOT washable if these are made like most bins of this type as they use thick cardboard as stabilizer in the sides and bottom.

What is the weight capacity of each cube?

I have all if mine filled. One has cans of soup, varies foods and full glass bottles in them. I would say they can hold some pretty hefty items well. I read one reviwer uses them to store books in.

This purchase is absurd...One can purchase these "exact" same items at $$$Tree for $1.25 each!!!

The ones at $tree have really flimsy handles,I have a set and they’re ok if you’re not using them daily. They also bow easier, I use mine for clothes so I could tell the difference right away.
