Bought this because I got tired of looking at the holes in the drywall behind the doors, where the doorknobs had punched right through. bBecause the kids who had 5 million toys to play with thought it would be fun to remove the springy door stoppers and pretend they were people. (Grrr.) It took 3 applications on each spot for the patched area to look smooth. Because I had two different areas, I can testify that 3 applications is the magic number and worth that extra effort for a nice looking result. The metal mesh worked so much better than the others I've used before, which were flimsy and rippled. Lastly, everything you need is provided (mesh, sandpaper, putty knife, smoothing tool, and patching compound) which means it came in the mail at lunch time on Saturday and by the end of the day, I had finished all 3 coats between other house chores. In other words, the task actually got done instead of this sitting in my garage because I had to hunt down all of the separate tools and supplies. The patching also compound provided a smoother result than spackle. (Maybe that contributed to the bad results I've had in the past, in addition to the flimsy mesh.) I'm usually too busy to leave reviews, but I was so happy with this that I felt compelled. Would definitely purchase again.

This kid has everything you need to fix drywall holes. The value for the money is absolutely there. it dried quickly and was easy to use.

The putty works great and is mostly as advertised, it’s definitely non-toxic (first putty I’ve used that I don’t choke on fumes when using), it is really easy to use. I needed it for a smaller project after my paint and drywall in my apartment started chipping after three months of living here due to maintenance’s failure to sand down the old paint prior to applying a new coat when they were getting it ready for us to move in. Just the smallest bit of moisture caused the paint to drip two weeks ago, I left it alone but then it started peeling after it dried. The product dries quickly, the first thin coat was dry within 30 minutes and it is definitely streak free. Waterproof? I’m not sure yet. However the product falsely advertises that it is odorless and it has an unpleasant smell to it, I would say it isn’t as strong-scented as most putties I’ve used, but still stinks. 9/10 product. And 10/10 recommend.

Ordered this to fill a 1" hole in our bathroom from a towel rack. The product came well packed in a box, has everything they claimed it would.Thus was perfect to patch the hole and so very to use. Even had instructions to help, if needed. Will reorder this kit if needed again.

Complete kit... I used it fill nail holes and large hole made by a door knob. Easy to use and works perfectly. Filler stays soft in container for future use.

The lid doesn’t go back on the putty after you open it. Was hoping to have it on stand by in case I needed it again.
