Fun keychain for a kid!
My son asked me to purchase this keychain to attached to his backpack. He thought the song was very funny and told me that his friends liked ut and it made his teachers laugh when they heard the song that the QR code linked to.

Clever idea but poorly executed
This didn't work quite as expected. First, the QR code links a YouTube Short that plays only a few seconds of the video rather than the full thing as stated. The clip doesn't include the most iconic musical part or even any vocals, and it's edited terribly. It simply cuts off abruptly and restarts. Second, it begins with a YouTube logo loading screen that lasts longer than the clip itself. While it still technically qualifies as ad-free, this diminishes the impact of the joke, and the description should really clarify that "direct" doesn't mean "without delay". Giving away the source may also allow seasoned Rickrollers to guess the outcome. The physical product is nice though. It looks good and seems durable. It's on the large side for a keychain, but the rubbery material is fairly flexible. The code always worked right away, even before I removed the outer plastic. If the clip chosen was longer and contained the chorus, this would've been a slam dunk. Luckily, I was still able to prank my nephew successfully because he's 9 and very new to this, but I would've thought twice about the purchase if I'd seen it in action first.
