Have a hearing test then decide the best option for you - an audio amplifier or a hearing aid
If you are having hearing problems it is probably best to have a professional hearing test to find the cause – but if you just have a little hearing loss then something like this MEDca product could be worth investigating as a first step. It is something between a hearing aid and a pair of earbuds, it has a similar type charging case to some popular models, and the package includes a choice of tip sizes. These amplifiers didn't really perform well for the price – currently around one hundred and fifty pounds from Amazon - and being fairly small they could prove tricky for older fingers to operate. They can be personalised to a degree, but I would suggest that you have a professional hearing test in the first instance and if you just have straightforward hearing loss through age etc. then the ‎ GM-903BT could be a cheaper alternative to buying a proper hearing aid. I wasn't impressed with the performance or value-for-money, but in the right circumstances they could work for some users – three stars.

Clear hearing with a modern touch
Having used these hearing aids for several weeks now, I've come to appreciate the sheer clarity they offer. It's refreshing to engage in conversations without asking people to repeat themselves. The Bluetooth functionality connects seamlessly to my devices, making it effortless to switch from taking calls to enjoying music. The included carrying case not only charges the aids quickly but is also compact enough for easy travel. While the design is indeed thoughtful, especially with the noise reduction capabilities, I occasionally find the LCD display slightly tricky to read in direct sunlight. For anyone needing auditory assistance with a dash of technological integration, these would serve well.

Noise
I’m 78 years old and have had numerous hearing aids including NHS ones and these are by far the worst I’ve had. If you turn them up to hear people speak, the back ground noise is horrendous .If you move your head the feedback is awful
