Soft fleece fabric makes it comfortable to sleep with. My personal opinion is that it could use a third strap to keep it in place. I wrapped an ace bandage around it to keep my husband from waking up with it up around the calf of his leg. It could also use gripper dots on bottom so you won't slip when you stand up. Nobody wants to take it off every time you get up in the night. Washes clean easily and does a good job for its intended purpose. I shopped everywhere and they are all designed alike but this one was the better fabric and price.

I was in the hospital for several days and had a very simple-to-fasten "heel protector" boot to wear in bed. When I got home, I bought this thinking it was similar to what I had in the hospital. It is not as comfortable as the one in the hospital and the manner of fastening it closed is convoluted and difficult if you're by yourself. Don't recommend.

Purchased these for a loved one who had sores on the back of his heels. These are so super comfy. We went by shoe size and got the large, but he probably didn't need that size because of his smaller legs, so you might be able to save some money and get the medium. Nurse/caregivers thought they were great, too. Easy on and off. Keep your loved one comfortable.

Used to elevate heals and prevent bed sores. Size measurement isn't by shoe/foot size, but by, ankle/calf size. Big feet (size 12-13) but small diameter legs needs a small size. Made of soft, comfortable material. Not good for walking.

I needed protector for pressure sore on my heel. The foam is so hard, I started to have skin breakdown from theboot. Medical No return. Another product that should be perfect but is contruction incorrectly for the medical use prescribed. BOO!

This low review is simply for sizing, not function. I’m a men’s size 10-11. I’m paralyzed and require boots nightly to relieve heel pressure. I ordered first the medium and my toes stuck upbeyind the boot like 2 inches. I returned for larges, exact same thing. The size difference was in the ankle/calf width. Too bad as I liked the concept of the gel system and straps. I will need to try another brand. Being paralyzed, this product would have then shifted the pressure problem from my heels to the blankets rubbing and putting pressure on my toes. These boots are not a solution for paralysis pressure management.
