These little guys are super useful on a workbench that has 3/4" holes drilled in it. I you get the package that includes the stainless steel bench dogs (which are low profile!) then you have a ton of options. I use one of the 'clamps and one of the fixed dogs to secure thin pieces (1/4" thick) for intricate work on slots, etc. Very sturdy and well made. Highly recommend.

I use these all the time. They are nice little adjustable wood holders that work in dog holes on a workbench. They can be adjusted to fit most lengths of wood if you have the right number and spacing of dog holes. They are very solid and work well. There are only two small things. The first is that they are not super flat so if your wood is less than about a 1/2 inch thick, you can't use them because they stick up over the side. The other issues is that they are screws which is great for adjusting but if you have to move them a lot one way or the other it takes a bit and is kind of tedious. Overall though, I highly recommend these. They are solid and super useful.

Brass blocks are not getting aligned cotrectly with the push durection. I may have to glue a cork strip to avoid ant possible damage that this block may cause.Overall it's a good and fit tool to my portable workbench top.

Just what I was looking for.

I've usually buy Veritas products, but decided to give these a go. This model is the only one I've seen on Amazon that doesn't come with those stupid mini wrenches, instead of the brass turns and I appreciate that they went the extra mile. All the other made-up brand names are selling the, lesser version, but this is essentially the Veritas model in style and functionality. I like to support made-in-Canada, but these are less than half the price of the real McCoy and the quality is still there.Also, as long as you keep an eye on the angle the stop hits the piece at, it won't lift, as shown in my last picture.

Not too many reviews on these but I took a chance. They are extremely well made and look great. Cranking the clamp is easily accomplished and the turning mechanism is not impleaded by the workbench surface. This clamp will last forever, it's solid. The only issue is, as you apply pressure, the workpiece can start to lift. This was actually expected and this is something that happens with this style of clamp. I don't give out five stars but if I did, this would be a five star.
