I bought this to help with TMJ issues and neck misalignment, which had induced severe somatic tinnitus in my left ear that I was waking up with every day. It was torture and I was falling into a deep depression from this. The first night after sleeping with this pillow I did not wake up with tinnitus. I'm so thankful for it honestly, it gave me a new lease on life because I felt hopeless and miserable before then.In terms of the pillow itself, I like how there are two different heights to choose from, which gives it a more customized fit to your neck. It stays cool and it feels balanced between soft and firm. I was not bothered by the smell of the pillow, it's not strong compared to some other memory foam products I've purchased before. I like the honeycomb like pillowcase also, it has a nice texture. All in all, it feels very supportive.The only problem I have run into, which is no fault of the pillow itself, is that I'm getting lower back pain now when I wake up. But this is due to my bad mattress not being able to compensate for my new sleeping posture. Once that is taken care of, everything will be perfect!

A brief bit of background, as I think pillows are more user specific than most items. I'm a 6'0" male, with fairly wide shoulders. (Yes, an actual 6'0", and no, I'm nothing special. Just your average middle aged pudgy dude.)I generally sleep on my side, and because of my shoulders, most pillows aren't tall enough. This one is better than most, though I am using a wafer thin regular pillow beneath it. What truly shocked me is I can sleep on my back using this pillow. That's never been the case, both from a comfort and respiration perspective. It's a winner for me!

I have neck issues and previously got a pillow from Amazon. Worked really well but needed replacement. I came across this pillow with high hopes. I was struggling with headaches and neck aches and didn't notice any improvement for the first few days. I am glad I gave my neck a chance with this new pillow and Glad I did. My neck feels better and being a side sleeper this pillow has helped. Glad I am Now Sleeping better with No pain

I'm actually going to write a review for this. Umm.. now listen, pillows are very personal. What works for someone else, may not work for you. But.... this is a damn good pillow. I've been on a pillow spree for the last few years. 20+ pillows? I have some neck issues from occipital neuralgia so when it hits, it's serious. Anyway, I don't detect smell, maybe just a little 'new' smell, if any. It comes wrapped in plastic foil. You unfold it and it expands in seconds. I was worried it'd be too big, but no. It goes into a standard pillowcase with ease (this is the larger pillow size). As someone noted... it feels firm and soft at once. It is supportive and I'd use the word 'delicate'. Very pleasant to the touch and on the neck. After first night and a morning nap, my neck feels rested and relaxed. I had to use pain meds two times in a week before this. So... I don't know how long the pillow will last and doesn't deflate, but at this price, it definitely is worth trying.

I used to suffer from shoulder pain and back pain, After getting a really FIRM mattress and getting this neck pillow. After a week all my pains are gone! This provides great neck support, Just like the tempurpedic neck pillow at half the price. Cant recommend enough. For people that are not used to neck pillows it may be hard to get used to it. My wife doesn't like them at all, but i my self cant sleep well with normal pillows. This pillow also helps with my snoring as it keeps my neck straight when i sleep on my back.

The cooling gel really does work and it's a very coolingConAt 5.3 inches high the neck higher side was too high for my neck I'm 5 ft 4 in and I found it pushed up my neck a lot even after a couple of days it did not really softenThe low side is way too low and pushes your chin towards your neck when you sleep so that's not worth using it all It's not just low it's the shape of it If the higher side is opposite your neck then it's going to push your neck down so I don't see the point of offering two sides when one side really cannot do what it's supposed to do which is cradle your neck gapI was really excited for it but I had to return it!

I bought this pillow to help with my pinched nerve and associated shoulder pain. It seems to help. I think the memory foam is just about perfect. I now have two of these and the consistency is great. There is a pillowcase on here by Elibaba that is an almost perfect fit, if you're looking for one.

I've been sleeping with this pillow for a couple of months. When it arrived, it was packaged super tight and all I had to do was wait for it to puff up. No smell.I had NO idea that the reason I was sleeping so poorly was because of my pillow.It is very supportive and I like how the 2 sides are different heights. Usually, I like the larger side.I guess the only downside is how slippery it is, so in the morning, it is half out of the pillowcase. A small price to pay for maximum comfort.
