My original remote stopped working for some reason and had to get replacement. Was worried about pairing it with my 24 volt terranova but took less than 5 mins. Took all of like 5 or 6 moves and worked like a charm

Fails to Pair (Fixed)
Original post with one star--"I received blutooth i-Pilot remote original package. It fails to pair with my MinKota Terrova. I follow the direction on MinKota website. I downloaded i-Pilot phone app which functions. I need suggestions."Update: I bought a second remote with the same problem. The motor was installed 2017. After looking on line and I remembered there was mention of "software update" on the remote found update instructions requiring the I-Pilot phone app. I did it and the problem solved.
