I don’t have the”CS” but I do have the CP and it did have the adapter with it.

Does it comes with sounds already in it, or is it strictly midi?

It's a sound generator with envelope, filters, lfo, effects, and a looper. It does midi, but it's not loaded with banks of sounds. you design the sound with the sliders. there are a lot of demo videos. You can literally take photos of the way the sliders are set as a way of memorizing good patches easily.

Does this have a headphone jack?

Yes, it does. I love this little "toy."
