I like the brightness, I installed it at a gas station, it is pretty bright.

Replaced a failed LED retro kit in a parking lot fixture. The original fixture had a 400w metal halide in it. The LED retro kit was rated to replace that wattage. This fixture is almost 2x as bright! I didn’t have to ask people if they saw I had replaced the failed light. They immediately noticed the brightness difference. I’m not using the photocell, so I can’t comment on it. The fixture was surprisingly sturdy/good quality, not cheap in appearance. Easy to install. Great value as long as it holds up to the elements and we get at least 3yrs service life. For the price, that’s a decent lifespan in my book. Going to be going this route for some other retro kits that have sections not working.

Very bright cover almost entire front door , one and half acre most definitely I will buy one for the backyard, which is almost the same size but time will tell if it’s going to last I will definitely update

Way brighter than I thought it would be. I bought the 200w, I probably should got the 150w. My back yard is daylight now. Seams like high quality. Should of replace my old light long ago with this light.

I have purchased these more than once.Obviously very happy with them. We have put them up in our parking lot as our old non-LED lights have failed.Nice and bright and so great to having the dusk to dawn sensor.

This is a nicely packaged, solidly built, Quality Parking Lot light. Clear instructions in the manual along with there contact information if you need help. Both phone and email. Has the ability to use without the photocell. Which is an unnecessary and most likely point of failure if you don't need it. Keeps you from have to climb a ladder or renting a lift when the photocell stops working to replace it. But if you need it. it works flawlessly. It has a separate warranty card with all the warranty details. I knocked off a star because the Amazon listing show a 5 year warranty and does not mention that it's a prorated warranty. You only get one year free replacement.

I wanted a light that I could put up in my backyard to brighten up the area at night. Because I have a lot of trees in my backyard a solar-powered light was not an option.I ordered this 300-watt 45000 LM light to put in my backyard.The light comes well packaged. It comes with a photocell that is optional which will turn the light on at night and off during the day. I decided not to use this since I would prefer to put the light on a timer since I do not need it on all night.The light also comes with all the mounting hardware to mount onto a pole. It is made out of die-cast aluminum that dissipates the heat nicely and makes this very durable. There is no plug on the light but there is a 3 wired cable so you can hardwire this light or add a grounded plug.If you decide to NOT use the photocell there is a black cap you put over it for manual operation.The light is AC operated so you do not need to depend on sunlight for this to work. It is 300 watts but is equivalent to a 1200-watt non-LED light.It is also weather resistant so it can be used during rain and nasty Canadian winters.It is always important to me that electric devices at my home are certified safe. This light is UL certified meaning that it has been tested by a third party to be safe.This light is very bright. It lights up most of my backyard to the point that you could even read under it.I am very happy with this light. It's well-made, functions perfectly, and works great.I do recommend it.

I recently installed a 300W LED light in our parking lot, and I must say, it has made a huge difference. The brightness is impressive. This parking lot light is VERY GOOD! I rarely give a 5 stars review unless a product is exceptionnal (in my opinion). This is one of them! The build quality is very nice! It really looks like a quality product and the price is VERY reasonable!! It looks like a much more expensive product!Construction wise, the paint is uniform and nicely applied, the holding bracket is super sturdy and the mounting angle is ajustable. The light itself is incredibly bright and is definitely an upgrade in my backyard!The photocell option s great! It turns the light on/off at the right moment every day. This is the kind of light that will benefit to be mounted high in the air! The higher, the larger area it will illuminate.This parking lot light deserve a 5/5!

We’ve needed some extra lighting at the end of the house that also covered the driveway. The light that was at the end died, and we took the opportunity to look for something that provides some significant light.And boy, does this light have some serious output. It’s also made from some solid construction. The light is made of solid metal, and has banks of strong LED lights. The top of the fixture has rows of metal to help disperse the heat that would be generated by the light, and channels any rain down to some holes at the base to let the water drain out. On top of the light is a module dock that lets you either have it wired to be a dusk to dawn light, or plug in the steady state module to keep it on as long as it has power like a regular light. Plus by using the LEDs instead of standard lights, you save power while providing a bright light.One thing to note is that it has a stalk from the light that is made to mate on to a lamppost or some other mounting fixture, but that part is not included with the light.

I ordered this light to replace a light mounted on a telephone pole in the side yard.I have only tested this light in my basement. I am waiting for the electrician to order the 2 3/8" side tenon slip-fit adapter for the telephone pole and complete the installation.In testing the LUX, the 45,000 lumen claim is reasonable and likely. It is light and sturdy, and the cooling fin design will keep the lights from operating too hot.The photosensor is to face north, but the photocell cannot be rotated 180 degrees if the sensor is facing south. The shorting cap might be required in that case, and the circuit put on a timer.From what I have looked at, this is a good to average price for a 45,000 lumen light with photocell.
