Follow the instructions on heat treatment
It's a large bucket with a lot of concrete. Two part, mixes with water. It can be vibration casted onto a mold, but is not required--eg, you can fill cracks with this if you need to make minor repairs like on a fireplace. However, it is important to read the drying and heat treatment section of the instructions. You only need to do it once, but it is absolutely necessary to get a strong and insulating cement. It takes a few days to complete, but without it the cement isn't really ready for usage.

worked great for a small propane forge
I used this product to finally make my small forge with heat resistant bricks and cemented them together with this high temp cement. The material was easy to work with and I followed the curing instruction exactly and the the mini forge turned out great. I would recommend reading and following the instructions as best you can

Great refractory cement
When properly cured, this refractory cement provides excellent heat protection. It is a little work to use it properly, but once cured and dried it does a great job.

Fixed Cracks In My Kiln!
I finally got around to doing some maintenance on my kiln, and used Girtech FireCast Castable Refractory Cement to repair some cracks. The refractory cement is easy to mix (I used googles and a rebreather for my safety gear) and it has good adhesion to the bricks. I cleaned the area around the cracks first, and vacuumed it to prepare the surface. The kiln regulars is going to 1350 degrees, well within the limit of the Girtech cement. It's working well, and I am confident this will extend the life of my kiln!

I got this for many purposes
I got it because I wanted to use some for the brick pizza oven I made, But then I'm thinking I'm in the trades and I patch chimneys and old stove flue's all the time and this would work great. I also am wanting to pursue blacksmithing as well as a hobby, it's so cool this has so many uses,

Thin and light easy to cut
Used for a pizza oven. You absolutely need insulation like this between fire brick and concrete or your floor never gets hot enough
