Garmin Vivofit jr. 2 - Stretchy Adjustable Activity Tracker for Kids + 1 Year Extended Warranty (BB-8)

Bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas last year and bought this one for my son for his birthday this year. Product was on extra sale I paid about half what I paid last year and they were on sale then. I had a Garmin vivofit myself for about 7 years before I finally upgraded to a smartwatch and unfortunately did not find a Garmin that I wanted, but these are great for kids of most ages. I love that they are waterproof and durable. Great the battery life is enduring. Haven't had to change one yet and our first kids watch bought was last year. The chore and rewards system is great for helping me to keep my kids motivated to complete their household duties. I also r ally like how they can work on being more independent with their schedules as they can have up to 10 alarms set to remind them of important tasks to be done. Also, task timers and step challenges are great functions. Both my 8 year old and 12 year old love their watches.

This watch has many features that make it ideal for children. My 8 year old was already very active, but the built in game aspect of this watch has him hooked. There are also many additional options including chores and rewards that I wasn't sure we would use, but they have been a hit. Parents can also set alarms and reminders during the day (for example for homework time) and kids collect coins for completing pre-determined chores. There is also an accompanying computer game where activity level translates to game time and rewards. I love that the watch does not require charging. The sleep tracking has also been a great way for my son to gain a sense of agency for his bedtime and wakeup times.The watch interface is intuitive and requires very little parental assistance. In terms of accuracy, the watch seems consistent between days but also it seems to overestimate total steps per day.

We got this for my seven year old who wanted a watch like her sister. It is fun for the girls to compete. It paired easily and has worked well also. Priced the same as the first generation, this seemed like a no brainer. Especially because we have a ton of watchbands that can be switched out. That being said, the star wars theme is incredibly cute. My daughter has been excited to see how many chores and steps she can get in each day so that is a win for everyone.

Kids love em. Water proof and long battery are key.

I purchased it for my 9 year old son. It's his first fitness watch.It not only tells him time, date, and fitness information, also gives him ways to keep track of his chores and earn rewards for them.It's his first watch he wears ALL THE TIME!P.S. I do not recommend wearing it to the beach. Grains of sand will get through the crack around the button and will make it difficult to press.

This watch has been wonderful in helping my 6 year old son's routine.We play games that worth rewards, he has fulfilled his activities and tasks without me having to keep asking. 😅I recommend it to all mothers with children at this age.

I bought this watch for my 4 year old. He was so excited about it but it would not install the software update so most of the advertised features (chore list, alarms, colorful background image, etc) were not included on his watch. Only the step counter and the time. I bought Vívofit Jr 2 watches for my other two children elsewhere and they were fully functional, so of course my 4 year old was unhappy with his.I’ve sent this watch back to the seller as a return. They included with the return instructions a long list of conditions, such as the original shipping cost will be deducted from my refund and a 20% fee will be charged if the item is opened. I just sent it yesterday (at my expense for the return shipping) so I’ve yet to see if I get a full refund, but I certainly should since the only reason I returned it is because it didn’t work properly.I buy almost everything I can from Amazon and I have never had to pay to return an item, or been told there would be any deductions from my refund for the things mentioned above. I will never buy from this seller again!

Grand kids love these Garmin Vivofit trackers. I have purchased 3 of them now. The banded ones without a buckle are best. They keep them on and can swim and shower with them too.
