This is a BEST BUY among tablets!
I've been an Apple user for over 15 years and this was my first serious attempt at utilizing the Android system for surfing, reading e-books and listening to music in bed. I've tried half-hearted attempts with no name tablets that would start malfunctioning with 4-5 months leaving me disappointed. I made the decision to purchase a Samsung based on the loyalty of friends and acquaintances who loved the reliability of the brand. I did pick the tablet with the 128GB internal storage so as to "future proof" it. I installed a 256GB Micro Card and have been impressed. The display is clear and vibrant, the sound is impressive with the quad speakers and the Bluetooth connection to my various headphones and earbuds has been solid. In my humble opinion, this tablet is a much better value than the entry level iPad. I've downloaded onto the Micro Card, my music library (12,000 songs), 100+ books from Amazon and a few favorite movies and the tablet works effortlessly. I installed a glass screen protector and a light brown case and it stays in my nightstand. Color me impressed and I will most likely stick with Samsung for the foreseeable future for my tablet and phone needs.

Good tablet for traveling, school or business!
I love this tablet! It has loud speakers with great audio quality, especially if you plan to watch movies and videos on it. It's basically having everything your android phone has but on a bigger screen with the tablet. You're able to go online, youtube, write notes on Samsung notes, read your emails, check the weather, visit all streaming service apps like Hulu, Netflix, ect. You can download any app you would on your phone but on the tablet and it's great because you can take it with you especially if you travel alot.To charge the tablet, you can use your regular phone charger (I have a Samsung galaxy phone) and it works the same on this tablet but just check on the Amazon page to make sure your phone charger will work but I feel like it fits most android phone chargers. When fully charged, the battery life of the tablet is long-lasting and can easily last 2 weeks without charging. The camera quality on rear-view is really good! It's clear, bright and focused. The camera quality on front-view is not so great, kinda blurry, looks foggy, low resolution quality and darker lighting. If the front-view camera had the same quality as the rear-view quality, this would be the perfect tablet with no flaws. But I don't really take pictures with my tablet so it doesn't bother me.The touch screen is good. You don't have to press hard to recognize your finger touch. A light touch will do just fine to type, get into apps, ect.I bought a screen protector which doesn't come with the tablet. So make sure you get one before using it. The screen of the tablet does mark all of your finger prints everytime you touch it. So you will have to wipe it down constantly with a microfiber cloth.I really enjoyed this tablet and would recommend it.

Solid protection, but at a cost of convenience.
Good at its prime directive of protecting my tablet. Sturdy rubber corners and side edges gives confidence and after months of use I can say I've yet to be concerned about an of my inadvertent impacts. The back strap has been a reliable handle, and itself a prevention to mishandling. The only peeve I harbor is with accessing the microSD carrier. Regrettably an entire dismantling of the case is required to extract and load the card carrier on the side. ... or to change it. I don't mark it down much for this, because it seems protecting the device is its primary value, and I'm convinced it does that well. I haven't had much need to do that. But if you do with any frequency, ... beware.

some flaws but ok - Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Plus 11” 128GB - US Version, 2024, Graphite
Review of Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Plus 11” 128GB Android Tablet - US Version, 2024, Graphite-The version of Android OS in this tablet is missing the ability to assign custom notification sounds to apps. I test compared this with the Android OS in my phone and in my previous Samsung tablet, both of which have this software feature.-The fit and finish of the seam around the edge of the tablet is not perfect. This may be a "one off" problem, but Samsung should have caught this in QA. I am keeping the tablet anyway.-With the ability to add up to a 1TB MicroSD card, an Android OS tablet runs circles around walled garden Apple iPads. I've installed a 512GB card and was able to copy my entire collection of music and ebooks onto the card before putting it into the tablet. I am also able to just plug in the tablet USB into a Windows computer to add additional file selections when desired.-Among the best things about Android OS is the variety of apps available. For example, I run 3 music apps AIMP, musicolet, and frolomuse, all of which are superb. I also run multiple web browsers: FireFox, Vivaldi, Brave, and Chrome. In addition, Android supports an open source ebook reader called Lithium, which is tremendous. There is also a version of the Thunderbird email app for Android. Combined with the ease of the open ExFAT file system on the external MicroSD card, using an Android tablet for music playing and ebook reading is superb.-Notably, my previous similar Samsung had much better battery life than this tablet.-This tablet only seems to be able to charge when attached to one of the new high wattage usbc charging blocks. My previous tablet, which used an old standard Micro USB port, would charge quickly when connected to nearly any usb source.-Overall, this tablet is an excellent portable digital device enhancement.-Despite the flaws noted above, I am keeping the tablet because its screen is adequate, its sound is quite good for sound coming out of a tablet computer, and the apps available for Android OS is superior other alternative operating systems.
