There isn't a very complicated product and it does what you expect. Price is good for what you get. No super sharp edges. It's not super sturdy, but it's as sturdy as you would expect for a piece of flat metal.

This is a very nice, heavy duty rack shelf. I bought to mount my Eventide H9 into my rack and it worked perfectly. I will agree with another reviewer that the thicker stubby screws didn't fit my rack either, but no biggie, I had plenty of screws to do the job. All in all, it's a great rack piece, very sturdy and I don't have to worry about my FX pedal coming loose.

I needed to put a couple of off-size pieces in my 2u Gator bag. One space is already filled with a DBX compressor. I used sturdy Velcro to mount a half size mic pre and a small digital interface onto this tray. I find it plenty sturdy. It doesn't have a lip nor is it extremely thick... otherwise it never would have fit for me. (Gator needs to make their bags with just a little more wiggle room... in my humble opinion.) The screws that came with the tray were a little larger than my rack rail. No biggie, I had plenty of the right size.

tends to sag a little in the middle with anything that weighs more than 12lbs. Placed two mini supermicro's and I started to see dip in the middle of the shelve. Assembly parts are solid and fitment is as expected. Decent buy.

We love using these on our commercial projects when we need to put patch panels in other places than a rack. They're very convenient they work as intended.

I bought two of these; one for my cable modem and protectli router. Holds both without hesitation. THere is a slight bow, so could be thicker, but I have a 1U gap below that will be filled soon, and I think that will become a non-issue. Looks great and fits great in my Startec rack. I like they came with more than enough hardware to install. I bought the second to mount on the opposite side of my front-facing cable manangement bar; it holds cables up as there are no devices below it. But a few things really sold me on this idea one I installed it; first, I used the screw-in cable managment bars that came with and typically mount to the side of my 25U open-post startec rack. It came with a lot of them, and I found with some washers, I was able to mount them in the open slots behind, and have great cable management in the rear, in addition to the support. Also, I did similar with "RuiLing 50pcs Adjustable Cable Ties Self-Adhesive Fixing Base For Wire Management Nylon Cable Straps Cord Clamp ACT-17/22 2 Size" that I purchased. Flexible, but secures cables great.

I'd been looking for a sturdy shelf without a lip for a while, and this was it. I was almost surprised that it arrived absolutely straight with no dings from shipping. Racked it up with no issues (it came with mounting hardware for every type of rail I've ever seen), and it seems rock solid. I wouldn't hesitate to load it up to the 22 lb rating claimed by the manufacturer.

Bought this to put in home server cabinet. Fit perfectly for a few things to sit on in the rack and be nice and secure. Heavier than you expect it to be because it doesn't look that big but I suppose that is a good thing and means it is rather strong. No complaints. Will order again in the future if I need another shelf to fit on a server rack setup.
