Luxury Skincare In Each Capsule That Leaves My Skin Looking Healthier
These are individually portioned serums in little capsules, which come in a plastic jar with screw lid. The box gives the full ingredients list, which I’ve taken a photo of. The serums are designed to do a few things, like “restore a more balanced and radiant complexion”, clear and “refine” the skin to reduce the appearance of pores, nourish the “protective lipid barrier” and leave skin “retexturized”. The clinical studies were carried out with Asian women and everyone will get on differently with products like this so you can only speak as you find. I’ve got very pasty white skin and they do make a difference to how it looks, so I’m pleased with the capsules. The ingredients that help make the magic happen include things like cyclopeptite solution, hemisqualane and a phytoceramide lipid complex. It feels like a more premium product overall in terms of appearance but also in terms of ingredients, making it a more scientifically developed and specialist serum. These are dermatologist tested, as you’d expect, and I’d also anticipate superior quality from a brand like Elizabeth Arden. I think the quality of the product and ingredients is high so I’ve no complaints there. I’ve also not had any problems with the product, nor have I experienced any skin complaints after using it.The capsules have a little end on them that you can twist off to break them open, releasing the serum. There’s a reasonable amount in there so I can easily cover the entirety of my face, though you could make it stretch to do part of the neck if you wanted to. I find these lovely to apply and the serum absorbs nicely after a few minutes, leaving my skin feeling velvety after application. think my skin does look a bit more radiant and a bit healthier. I think the small areas of redness I get are less noticeable, too. I’m not sure if it refines and reduces pores that much for me but it does smooth out skin to give a more balanced appearance. My skin feels soft enough that I can forgo moisturiser, but you can of course moisturise or apply make-up after use. I think I prefer using this in the mornings to get the initial effects of it but hopefully longer-lasting benefits will happen under the surface over time.At the time of getting these, they cost over the £90 mark so it’s very out of my budget personally. You do get a lot in here with 90 capsules, so if you consider the price per cap the overall cost seems a little more palatable. However, if cost isn’t a concern then they seem to give some good results and the serum is excellent to use. I really like these and while I wish the price were lower, they seem to work well for my skin and I love having a product that’s a bit more special and premium to add to my skincare routine.

Biodegradable, single dose capsules
The media could not be loaded. I've got a few different Elizabeth Arden serum capsules and they're an easy way to ensure you apply the optimal amount of the serum. These ceramide serum capsules are intended to strengthen the skin barrier and refine the look and feel of your skin.Just twist off the little nodule and squeeze the serum out onto your fingers, then apply to the face and neck. The serum is quite fluid and is almost clear, with just a very slight cloudiness, and it applies like a dream, going on really smoothly. It has a light siliconey feel so it leaves skin feeling super smooth and really soft. My skin looks hydrated and brighter. The capsules do look very indulgent with little specks of gold on the outside of the capsule. It is quite a large tube but they are still quite pricey, although you could eke them out by just using once a day instead of both morning and evening. For the price I would prefer a glass bottle rather than a plastic one.

Amazing
This product is amazing it really brightens your skin a few people commented on my foundation but I’m just using this. If I do wear make up it’s easier to apply.

Expensive and not cruelty-free
I've never used a serum that comes in little capsules before, I like the idea because it gives you a measured amount that you need, but it is also a little wasteful with the excess material. They're easy to use, simply twist the top until it comes off and then squeeze the capsule onto your fingertips. I thought it was going to be runny, but there's a little thickness to it. It applies smoothly and has an oil-like consistency - I first tried this by only using a cleanser, this serum and then a moisturiser, and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin which is great. Now I apply my toner and other serums before this one due to the oil texture. Not having a fragrance is a plus too, it's not something I care about and means it's less likely to upset your skin.Depending on how often you use these, they can last you up to 3 months if you only use one a day (90 capsules), however, if you use them twice a day in your skincare routine, you'll get a month and a half. Considering the price is over £90, that's very expensive and you're paying for the brand as well. One thing to consider is other websites say Elizabeth Arden isn't cruelty-free, however, their actual site says they don't test on animals "except in the rare instances where required by law". This basically means they sell their product in China and all products have to be tested on animals to be sold there - so they technically are not cruelty-free.

Underwhelming results but some benefits for fine lines
I've been using these capsules on my face for a few weeks now, and I've noticed a slight improvement in the surface texture of my skin. I haven't noticed anything significant, nothing I can see clearly unless I get close to the mirror, the benefit came from reduced depth of wrinkles around my eyes, but from anything further than a few inches, it's not visible. It didn't seem to have any effect on my pores, they look the same size. It's very hydrating in the short term, but this doesn't translate to long term hydration in my experience.I wouldn't continue with this treatment simply due to the underwhelming results so far and the big price tag which can't justify it.
